Help us with F1 2015!

since you released the patch 1.0.8 there are problems with the connection to the PS network. Yesterday evening, in 2 different invite-only sessions 50% only race, with an average of 4 human players per session, the game presented the same problem simultaneously to all of  us:


Our connection are well configured, and after this error we were still in the party talking about this problem.

We have an online league and can be very annoying if will happen during the race!

Maybe I'm a fool, but is better for un (players) if you downgrade to the pacth 1.0.6, that was the best, and after you have done all the checks release the 1.0.9.

I really dont think this is to do with the game , go to the project cars forums and you'll see tons of comments like this , the disconnections are happening in other games as well , Helldivers , Evolve, everyone at Pcars is blaming the latest patch as well. This has got to be PSN, no one seems to know where the problem is unfortunately, and sony are definetly saying PSN is ok. but just look at downdectector .com or .co.uk and you'll see.

the point is that if it was a connection problem, even the party had to disconnect. However there was no need to restart the console because it continued to be connected. 
Anyway We will have a look to the website you gave us.

@Britpoint In online races, I'd like to use the voice commands but of course nobody wants to hear everyone scream ''WEATHER FORECAST'' every other minute, would it be possible to implement an automatic 'mute' while the player is holding the talk to engineer button?

When Jeff talks you can't use the engineer menu, bit frustrating as he tends to talk randomly to you on the straights when you want to access it. 
Also you should be able to use the pad menu during pit stops including entry and exit.

In this game dont needed to use the intermediate tyres, if you pass from rain to dry or vice versa, the time changes always in 15 minutes, so you can stay with the wrong tyres and gain advantage, we have checked in our league.

I really hope that this is taking seriously. I know you'll know some of these, but here goes. 
•There's still issues regarding online connectivity. Random disconnections during races. 
•I don't know how many times I have stressed about this issue, but with equal car settings on AI do not perform like they are set as equal. They still drive as they are in performance mode. Not an issues to some but I feel as tho it's still an issue. I play an online championship with friends and it would be better if this was sorted.  
•AI awareness is still an issue. With regards to other cars on track when overtaking and drivers on hot laps etc, big race killer. 
•I don't know if this is just me, but me and a friend have noticed that the AI don't make enough mistakes during races. Sometimes feels like they drive on rails. 
•I've always had a thought of maybe a bar in options which gives you a choice of difficulty settings from 1-10. So a scale of 1-10 for AI mistakes or AI difficulty scale, chances of rain and track conditions. Just a thought.

Things I like in F1 2015

- Car handling on dry
- Time Trial mode. You've reached perfection here. Keep it the same, please.
- AI behavior (a few enhancements would be good but there is nothing crucial to be changed here)

Things I dislike in F1 2015:

- Too much grip on grass and under wet conditions.
- Predictable race results in offline mode.
- When AI is out of the race we don't know why. There should be either a pop up message on screen and/or the engineer should inform us about a driver's abandon the reason for that.
- Curbs do not have any impact on handling. Not sure how it is in real life to give details as how it should be, but to me, the current curbs just seem unreal.
- No weather forecast for the weekend.
- Unlimited Race strategy. there should be more than one race strategy available. That race strategy screen is useless since there is nothing we can edit in there.
-  Unstable multiplayer mode

Absolutely agree. I thought we had something in already, so perhaps there are ways around it that are unaccounted for. Do you hear people trying to use the voice commands often in online races?

@Britpoint Actually no, I never heard people use them, but I just thought that's because no one uses them online because it'd sound so silly. If auto-mute is already in I stand corrected, but I personally never used them online because I thought everyone would hear.

And now take a look at the number of pit stops. It's ridiculous.

This game is unplayable offline. I got bored months ago... It is sad because graphycs and handling are nice. I had a lot of fun racing online in my league but you need to fix the disconnection problems

And it gets better. Just did a race around the Yas Marina circuit. First pit stops are underway. Guess what? Yeah, Ferrari stacked their cars. You know the bug about cars pitting on the same lap, it's still there. The bug which was supposedly fixed months ago.

But again, I've sent this and several other issues Lozzy's way.

Fix in car sound.it needs turning up..you really can't hear wot gear your in when you have other cars around you..and get rid of the ghosting cars.why you make them do that is beyond me.if I'm going to crash let me crash..don't need my car turning into Casper the friendly ghost in corners.

I just wish the Force Feedback was more informative , realistic and robust.
Utilizing Thrustmaster T300 RS with F1 Wheel Ad On.
PlayStation 4.
Also, a in game Manual and F1 Rule Book would be nice.
Striving to learn this game and drive cars with no assist primarily just doing time trials to learn the circuits before trying to race.
What few quick races I've done were interesting will eventually try championship modes as my skill is slowly increasing.

Case in point for the cars being too quiet. Could be changed for the current game, but I assume the audio team is fine with it as it is. Which baffles me, quite frankly.

Controllers need better implementation, my G27 has never felt good. This is so important, we all know driving is in the feel.
Brakes, Fuel etc need a series of keyboard presses... equally difficult to master. I know its not realistic, but perhaps those instructions could be optionally in the spoken "engineers" commands (he also needs to be clearer - user needs to have much more control over volume etc.)
Everybody agrees we need a proper Career Mode put your own photo in and all. There are also not enough difficulty levels, you get caught between winning every race or struggling to match the pace of the slower cars. Should there be assists in Career Mode, I am not convinced (the difficulty levels should be sufficient). Also how about an optional simulated pre season practise where a difficulty  assessment could be made, based on your laptimes.
We have all talked about AI, Pit stop problems,tyre scaling issues, invisible barriers, online stuff etc and would expect these to be taking priority in the development of 2016.

Hah! I was just going to show them the same video and I'm just over 7 minutes to the video. So I don't know if something else happens later on, but @Lozzy , please comment on those two accidents after the six-minute mark.
E: Oh dear god, that Merc-crash got A LOT worse after the seven minute mark. :D That's something else...
E2: Why the hell, why not show some other irritating parts... @13:25 is the "afraid AI" what I have been talking about many times. That's not the worst example, but you'll get the idea. Raikkonen should have kept his normal racing line like they do in real life and have the player to do something to avoid contact. Now you know that AI will move away, every time. (E4: Same thing @17:15. Räikkonen runs wide and I'm 110% sure that is for "avoiding contact" with @Tiametmarduk because AI doesn't make those type of mistakes any other way. (And just to make sure, those type of things (running wide etc) WOULD be great if they weren't effected by the driver itself. AI drivers "driving errors" is hopefully one thing you bring to F1 2016)

On other news, I had a tyre bug once again yeasterday. Brand new lobby, straight to short qualifying and the team decides to put options on no matter what. 

Here's a silly video about it (the first 1,5 minutes, rest is racing and there weren't any bugs). Only thing I think I did differently compared to other times is that I switched controllers and so the game quit the lobby. I joined in again via PSN's "Join Session"-button on PS Menu. I have no clue if that has anything to do with the bug but decided to mention that.

At this point you kind of have to ask, is this game even fixable?

Testing for this season starts next week. The development of the 2016 game is on. Just how realistic is it that the current game gets fixed?
I think we all know the answer. I mean, one of us has to know, 'cos God forbid a Codemasters employee manages to find some words.

But, don't worry guys. I'm sure the next game will be not only be generally much better, but it will also feature everything we hope for. Also, there is a good chance it might even do the dishes for you. At least that's what I'd say, if I were a CM employee.
