Help us with F1 2015!

Recommended Posts

At this point you kind of have to ask, is this game even fixable?

Testing for this season starts next week. The development of the 2016 game is on. Just how realistic is it that the current game gets fixed?
I think we all know the answer. I mean, one of us has to know, 'cos God forbid a Codemasters employee manages to find some words.

But, don't worry guys. I'm sure the next game will be not only be generally much better, but it will also feature everything we hope for. Also, there is a good chance it might even do the dishes for you. At least that's what I'd say, if I were a CM employee.
As for F1 2016 is using the same game engine as F1 2015, I don't see patches impossible. And even if they didn't do these changes to F1 2015, they hopefully do that for F1 2016.

Which is why I expressed my surprise to jennyannem at starting this thread topic. I would love to know where CM is going with this topic. Why ask us to repeat what is and isn't working and what could be better all over again? Something we have been doing for almost 8-months.

The fact nobody answers confirms your doubts. I don't know how it is possible they don't know what to fix yet. There are a lot of bugs reported in this months.

There certainly is a lot of stuff from the past almost-8 months - some might've been sorted, some not. Getting it all up-to-date helps :).

Great, than once again and as a lot of responses in this thread are pointing out, too:
Please finally make the cars in replays and especially the players engine, as well as up/downshifting, "F1 like" louder!

Oh, so CM don't intend acting on any of these posts for F1 2015? So you still have me baffled as to the purpose of this thread.

Maybe this is going to act as a checklist for the next game, since it is being build upon the 2015 title.

I highly doubt we are going to see another patch. I did ask about a patch and didn't receive an answer, and this, in Codemaster language, means we're getting nothing.

Just think back about the answers we've gotten concerning the safety car and the career mode for the current game. That's right: stone dead silence. At least until the game released...

Unless I am missing something, I take this as nothing to do with F1 2016.

Help us with bugs, yeah, but that doesn't mean they're going to fix them, does it? Also, you know, they could just be lying.

I give them the benefit of the doubt, but it does seem just a bit weird that they're not giving us any information on a possible future patch. Unless of course their new open approach towards the community was already scratched.

When we've got some information, I promise you, I'll let you know.

The 'new open approach' to the community has not been scrapped. I'm sorry to admit to you that sometimes... sometimes things are just as they say they are.

@lozzy @jennyannem  just a quick question, do you intend on fixing any of the above issues or is this another ploy so you can deflect people's attentions away from testing or just to pass the days away until release of 2016 @lozzy why don't you give us a list of what and how you want 2015 before the release of 2016 will we get continued patch support after the release of 2016 for 2015

Surely this is something you guys should be doing! Keeping a record of what you fixed and what you've looked into omg lol can it get any better. Did you send the game to the local nursery for testing?

@lozzy @jennyannem what's really worrying aswell is your testing team there inability to recognise a bug a glitch to diagnose an issue in 2015 is truly remarkable I have no idea why you still of confidence in them after the shambles of this game

Why is it,that after 2hours of a patch being released.we spot bugs straight away. And you take 8 months to try and fix it...seems to me you new the bugs was there and hoped we didn't see them..so we don't need to tell you wots wrong when you don't fix anything we ask for...tell me one thing you fixed that we asked for....that works.

The main 2 things for me are;
The AI need to be more intelligent, they do some really stupid things on track, and sometimes stack in the pits when its completely unnecessary. In this video, Marcus Ericcson and Kimi Raikkonen start weaving coming out of the hairpin at China causing me to take evasive action, hitting Hulkenberg by accident putting me in the wall and out of the race. If Ericcson and Raikkonen had just accelerated out of that corner normally, nothing would have happened.

Also, in the replay cams, you can barely hear the cars, would like them to be a bit louder.

Ok from now on, I will be downloading pirate copies of Codemasters' games if I even want to play it. I have been buying their F1 titles since 2010 - and each time we do this sh!t. We complain about crap they need to fix until the next title comes out - only to find out there is more stuff missing or not working.
The worst issue in F1 2015 is the deadzone issue with custom wheel settings. WTF can't they fix this with an update after almost a year?
So Codemasters hear me out - I will NOT buy your kak ever again.

I hope that in 2016 the car to get in touch with the grass lose traction to the point of being uncontrollable. Even with the rigid rules, I had to make those who use the grass to lose more Tyre and traction.

But in 2015. As I have said. Why can not use the fuel menu and change wing Tyre entering the box?

And for that to access the menu fuel, tires, etc., is so lengthy open it again?

if 2014 was never fixed what makes you think 2015 will ever be fixed, this company is a pure charlatan. Look what happens when you mention 2014, thread closed cos codies aint interested in fixing there own games they are only interested in making you believe they will fix it so you keep buying there games. Now most of you know what they are like and still keep buying there games, they say 2016 will incorporate the fixes yet you will still be charged full price for another ballsed up game.  Do what the majority done and just leave this company to rot into the ground.

They seem competent in the dirt series so maybe just leave them to make that. They certainly do NOT deserve a contract renewal with FOM.
