Yes, unfortunately, we have to face with Codemasters difficulties to keep this game updated.

I'm not sure if in 2014 2015 the graphics engine changed (I think so).
But you can see that should not have passed an update of the engine.

Take F1 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 compare all. The difference between 2010 and 2015 is average. Nothing impressive. Year after year, the game seems to be just an update, even changing graphics engine, the game always seems to be the same, only with edtions.
Codemasters was smart to exploit your engine more expressively.
Using filters, effects, among other issues to make the game different.
Still, F1 2016 will likely further explore the same engine.

I want in 2017, everything changes, it will take, yes, but that's what I expect.

Rebuild all the "zero" is not easy.
But we are late, and we need to do this,
sooner or later.

Another example:

What has changed from 2010 to 2015 was filters, effects, lighting, shadows, reflections.
The environment seems almost at some points, the same.
The difference is by car account. Physics also does not compare.
Today much has changed.
