Yeah MrDeap, as I said to dgeesio, i was running a short gearbox & not really going for time with that run, just showing data.

i fixed the gear ratios a page back and took 7 secs off that.  Sitting 10th WW

@PaloSamo , I tried Porkies there, very similar setup to the M3 one.  Strangely, the Manta carries it off a little better, but its still a bit floaty after bumps.  I have published mine now, the link is a few posts up if anyone wants to try.  I have tried to set the suspension to be absorbent after bumps and maintain a nice crisp turn in.  

Be warned, with the setup, you WILL be going a lot faster into some of the corners you used to take flat!  Hope it works for you!

I am currently uploading the #3 Manta run, to show you how silly it looks.  The car is curling on a few jumps - lol!

@KevM can you find which setup parameter (perhaps one at an extreme) that starts the car curling off jumps?

I've seen that before but struggled to replicate it.

I don't think it's setup related, it's just overly agressive flicking the car for the corner as it takes off.  It keeps continuing the turn through the air!

I honestly don't really see any issue.  If I had a real rally car, I'd have a quick-rack in it and I don't think that breaks any rules!

Talking about making it 'swerve' in the air here, not have it rotate on it's own axis to prep for the landing, that's easy.

True but even so I don't think you would use anything like the amount of steering that seems to work effectively in game.

Taking a RWD car like the Kadett for example you can flick from lock to lock at speed and be quick. Almost as it grip levels continue to increase with steering rather than drop off once past optimum slip angles. On gravel the fronts would act like rudders especially in a RWD with no drive pulling them into the corner.

That is why for me it feels more realistic using the authentic steering because what feels like odd behavior creeps in if you dial it down. Could just be me though...

Just drove some WR's with friends' rigs. Dirt is quite a nice experience with 3-screens, wish the fov on side monitors would be better tho.
