EDIT 90% of the CTD with Dirt Rally occured at the end of the rally while navigating to the next steps of a rally. That's why I'm suspecting Dirt Rally and not Nvidia driver. In addition almost all my CTD are related to Dirt Rally. In addition with widows 10 and previous version I had CTD with a full reinstallation another GC and window 7 64 bit I still have CTD with Dirt Rally. 

I have often CTD with Dirt Rally particularly when exiting a session or finishing a rally session. This happened with different version of nvidia graphics with windows 10 and as well with windows 7 64bit now that I did a full reinstallation clean therefore. My config is in the signature
As I have almost never CTD now that I moved back to W7 64bits CTD with the other games (Assetto Corsa, F12012, Automobilista, TS 2016, Eurotruck 2 etc.), I suspect that it is something to do with Dirt Rally
This time it is with the latest nvidia drivers 8 march 2016. I report what blue screeview application is mentioning:

After having a black screen at the end of a session rally before moving to another one (as it has already happened several times to me in the past) I had to reset the PC and I do not have any message.

It is the second time that I have a CTD after exiting following a change in the team gestion.
This happened after I checked the integrity of the files earlier on and restarted Steam. There was a message at that time that a file would be replaced. So I assume this has been done. So basically I have done everything I could have thought of: recent and clean installation of windows 7 64 bit (coming fromW10), all drivers up to date, hd properly maintained, registry properly cleaned with cc cleaner and iobit. I cannot do anything more.

Today 1 complete freeze in the middle of a rally then I have to reset the PC and I do not have records.
Then a Blue screen after finishing a rally and moving to another one. My config is in the first post. Details of the blue screen:

Hello it is me again after 2 weeks of holiday I'm back with update 1.1
First race at montecarlo a long one, I finished it then press enter to continue to the next rallye session at MC and then nothing more happened but after 15 s the sound is switched off and I have no control anymore even ctrl + shift + suppr does not work even after 3 to 4 minutes. So for me ist is what I called a black screen and I have to reset the pc.

Last "stable" NV drivers were 355.98 and 347.88, try one of these... 

W7pro GTX960 355.98 and all goes fine.

bj75  first link is not applicable.
Concerning nvidia drivers as soon as a new one is available I will install it. I had CTD with all nvidia drivers that I tried. Keep in mind that some are not even installable (from october 2015 to end of January or 3D surround is not working.

With new NVIDIA drivers 365.10 dated 2 May 2015. One rally yesterday ok.
3 rally today and while moving to the 4th one. A complete freeze with the sound of a CTD. I have to reset hereafter are the details

No, it's not the game, the issue is with your hardware (RAM or MB) or with your drivers (Nvidia, chipset, etch...) , check if there are updates for your MB, do a memtest, check the active processes, clean leftovers before reinstall new drivers, etc...

You have to investigate better to find what's wrong with your PC.
I've had similar problems when there was Asus Gaming OSD installed or with UAC active (my Workstation was configured with UAC off, so if I turn it on registry virtualization causes crashes).
Try also different graphic settings, start with 2AA and everything disabled and see what that happens.

Thanks bj75. I will call the topic partly closed. However I'm not completely sure the game has not something to do with my previous problems.
As I said most of the crashes happened at the end of several session rally or when moving to the next one or when moving to the garage etc. What could have played a role is that I was always in a hurry at the end of a rally pressing enter and enter and enter etc. Now I give more time to the system and I use the button 6 of my TM500RS and I save after each rally (with button4) and go back to the main menu.
What could have played a role as well is now I'm doing all the games offline from Steam, I have the impression it helps. Finally I uninstalled iobit and avast antivirus (even if I was disconnected them before playing).
Finally in the bios I changed the setting of the memory. I would then say everything help by decreasing importance.
