Wheel Support ?

Recommended Posts

Is there a list of compatible wheels for Dirt on PS4?
I've got a Fanatec 911 GT2 with CSR Elite pedals , are these supported ?

There should be, but I think they're on a journey at the moment to find the meaning of Rinus - so it might be slightly delayed.

Good list, but I don't see the normal CSR listed, will it not work? Why would they support the CSR elite but not the CSR that is more common.

I really want Dirt rally but if the CSR isn't supported, I'm going to have to pass.

Depends on how much they cost at your location, but T300 FFB is bit weaker but finer with less mechanical resistance in the system.
T300 would be best bought in bundle with T3PA -pedals (Ferrari Integrale or Ferrari GTE bundle) if you could fine good deal. But if you can get normal T300 for under 300 definitely just go with that, pedals aren't that bad.

I''m hoping that was a mistake myself.  Hoping the CSR will get support also.  Typing error?  All the other CSR bits are supported...

Really hoping it was just a mistake in the listing. I'm going to wait til after release to see if people who have CSR's can confirm that it works.

I already have to skip Gran Turismo because it doesn't support Fanatec gear.

The CSR isn't officially supported, (much like my GT2) but since the CSR and GT2 are similar I would imagine it works.....

I'm not going to take that chance lol. I'll wait til after release. And pass if my wheel won't work.

Well pretty much any racing game coming out PS4 is unlikely to support them.

Project cars and the crew both support Fanatec wheels. If it isn't a first party title, it's 100% up to the developer to add support. I won't be buying 1st party racing games because of that. And as such, any third party dev that doesn't support them, I won't purchase either.

Long story short, I'm unwilling to overpay for another wheel (There isn't a single one that has the same value as the CSR did on it's release) just to play games on PS4.

My o my, the FFB feels different on the XBox.  Took a while to dial in, but I like it! No wheel clunk.  It's silky smooth.  I'm having a real problem adjusting to the weird G920 non-linear brake pedal though

Yeah, hopefully Fanatec comes out with a new "budget" lineup. Not convinced I want to spend $1000 on a wheel.
