That is amazingly well made - this would increase the broadcast presentation a lot.

Yh its really gd but with the standings i think it might cost more to liscence as all f1 broadcasts use it

Just so you know, mate. You don't have to start a post for every sentence you write. See?

@Topic: Yeah, it does look good. But would it even be possible for the Codie's to use those graphics? I mean, they have the license, but that doesn't give them access to *everything*.

I'm sure the reason they didn't include it before was because it cluttered the screen too much which, while not so bad to watch could be a little distracting while playing. Although in all honesty, those screenshots don't look too cluttered to me. Rolex does the HUD for TV and the game so there shouldn't be a licensing issue. I see no reason they shouldn't go with that TV HUD. I personally like it, especially that team radio bit, didn't think I'd see that to be honest.
If it's still seen as too cluttered then perhaps the positions on the left of the screen could only pop up at the end of each sector or lap rather than being permanent though I don't think I'd personally find it distracting if it were there permanently. That results screen looks a lot nicer than the game one as well.

Guys, You should be talking race info being shown on a second screen app like other games on the same platform. We are not playing on the old consoles anymore. Codemasters are going to have to keep up and players should expect them to keep up. Don't let them by with simply rearranging the hud and call it a day like they have done for so many year. Make them spend time and effort adding UDP so we can have telemetry and detailed car and race info streamed to us.

They don't use the official graphics because FOM won't let them. Sensible? No.

Sorry guys, but Sony used the official F1 TV-Style HUD in F1 2006 ...without any problems and it worked!
I don't think so that these graphics make license problems. Codemasters has got the full FORMULA ONE license.
While they've worked for F1 2015 i asked "Why they are not interested in to integrate the real F1 TV-Style HUD in the game". I've got the answer, "because they don't like the real F1 graphics". Now it's time to fight for this new HUD community!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You see a second version. Sector standings on the left are gone.
There is a bar with displayed standings and it is scrolling from P1 - P5 / P5 - P10 ...
Maybe the best version?

Another good version, but I think it could be used while later in the race (like if 25% or bigger races after like 3-5 laps...)

Cockpit view with hopefully new HUD for F1 2016.
I mean the new graphics aren't taking any space away.
What do you think?

I think this should be a app you should design that can be used with the game. Now you just need codemasters to make a effort in adding UDP support in the game. So, here we are with codemasters seeing players having purpose to bring the game up to this gen or at least level with other racing games. They see a good design for a harmless third party hud app with the only thing need by them is adding UPD and shared memory support. Now lets see if codemasters decide to sink the series by not moving the game up to all the things next gen allows or swim by being on the same level of other racing games.

The standings on the left would probably be a bit of a problem for cockpit view as it blocks quite a significant amount of the left mirror so unless you're looking back rather than using mirrors it could be a hindrance. Perhaps it could be that they use the HUD in that Verstappen/Interlagos screenshot for cockpit view by default and the other for the other camera views. (If it has to be permanently there).

I like seeing at a quick glance what tyres my opponents are currently running on. Now I have to pause the game and go into race director

Maybe something like that?
It might be a good overview for the formation laps...

Better version for your feedback?
