F1 2016 | NEW HUD [TV STYLE]

One of the Studio Liverpool games had two tv huds.  One representing the world field, and one representing the pay per view channel F1 Digital+.

I think there is no need to argue over this. For me it's clear. People who drive in cockpit mode want the Experience of a real F1 driver. So every information should come from the display in the car on the steering wheel or from the engineer on team radio. At least what is still allowed by the new rules. 

Now people who drive in t-cam or third person they want more official atmosphere so they should have osd that matches the official ones we see on tv. As far as I am concerned F1 20XX is an official F1 game so it should have official TV Overlays. 

The same thing goes for replays. In replay cams I want to see official timing and standings screens. It adds to the atmosphere of a live broadcast. And how cool it would be if I can save the replay with standings so I can archive them and maybe look back in a few years on my career as a virtual F1 driver.

It looks cool, but it obscures the view a little bit.  Either a toggle or more transparency would be good.  I maybe like the ticker at the bottom better for visibility reasons.

F1 2006 / Championship Edition had the FOM graphics.

I think it'll be awesome if Codemasters could pull it off, something I've been hoping for for years. A lot of the F1 games in the 90s and early 00s sort of had a TV style HUD also.

This would be an amazing idea.  I can see this as an update or a mod, depending on whether you're a console gamer or pc gamer.  But yeah, definitely cool  :)

I like the screenshots but I think that IF they use these original HUD displays they have to use it for every year. Not that it is bad but the problem I see is that now the focus goes to the hud so much that if CM dont improve alot at the graphics or fisuals the gane looks like the same every year

Looks very good but could get in the way while racing so they would have to have an option to disable it. I think its unlikely Codies would do this but can see it as a mod...

Nice Idea. It makes the game feel more immersive and like real life more. I wish they could add that in as it would look so cool!
