im like the drifting so far only thing is there is only 5 tracks to drift please consider adding more drift tracks i would love to see grid 1 tracks again sense i can't play grid 1 online as the servers ended years ago but i loved all the tracks from grid 1 like freestyle mode and sabuya or however you spell it. it would be cool to drift the whole track instead of drift sectors make it a full lap drift.

No way man, if anything it needs to be more tandem focused than it is now. Points drifting isn't near as fun as doing tandems and they could make tandem work in the game, even SP. I think they need to bring back drift battles though. 1v1 is great when you're feeling competitive, but I'd like to be able to run tandem trains again.

tandem would be awesome 2 but new tracks would be cool 2.

I'd love to see a return to Yokohama and all the multiplayer mayhem from Grid 1, nothing like tandem with 4,5 or more other good drifters, then you forget about points altogether.

Having said that, at least you CAN do multi lappers at least though it seems to me most don't seem to realize it.

I'm hoping for a drift pack in the season pass and I DID see a pair of the Grid 2 Tyler McQuarrie drift cars in an online event so you never know.....

Drift is probably the only thing that does NOT AT ALL belong into a Grid game. It's the epitome of ridiculousness!!!!!!!

Drifting is the only reason I bought this game in the first place. I am very disappointed with the cars you can choose and the tracks.

Other than that there are at least 3 legendary cars in there. Always wanted to drift in the s13 from Daijiro.

And the Forsberg nissan is a BEAST! And the Team Orange evo is the bomb as well!

(And for the record I played all GRID games and yes Grid 1 was awesome - Grid 2 not so much).

I grew up with Drift Tengoku in Japan and now I am also a huge Formula Drift fan!

I also drift myself and had a lot of nice/good cars.

Tho... ofcourse... I miss the Hachi-Roku :D BRING IT BACK CODEMASTERS COME ON!!! ;)

It works AWESOME!!! But I really dont understand there's no tandem-runs etc.

There is soooooo much that couldn't been done better on this game and I hope they will still do this. Because I am in love with the drifting in this game!

For somebody like me - who only bought it for drifting - its just disappointing. So I really hope they put in more stuff. I already paid 40 euro's for the game. I would pay for more drift stuff especially cars and tracks.

PLEASE CODEMASTERS PLEASE! Make it right for BIG BIG FANS LIKE MYSELF and OTHERS!

its fun but you only get to drift with 1 person with or without collisions with 12 people in a drift lobby. you only get 5 drift tracks forward and reverse and you can set up laps on each race so i like it so far but its going to get boring playing the same 5 tracks over and over and over!!!

i play on ps3 and theres crews and were 2nd place on club leaderboard rankings overall. having a good time so far online drifting with friends im liking the online play so far just lacking tracks is my only complaint.

On the 86 note I think they should do a retro drift pack. All the old school drift cars when the pro stuff started taking off. Taka's 86, Grunwald's Porche etc. As far as drifting being ridiculous I would agree that it kind of was in the early 00's but it's really leaped as a sport and having done road racing and drifting I can say drifting definitely requires skill and it 10x the fun. That's why I want to push games to tandem it's so much better than points drifting.

That's my review - I am dutch so cut me some slack ;) - you can also check my profile for more REAL drifting video's etc. Nothing too spectacular but nice cars like a AE86 and an S13 with Skyline engine etc. ;)

More tracks for Drift would be awesome. Bring back freestyle and downhill from Grid 1. That was an awesome drift game, grid 2 not so much. It was more like power sliding. Grid autosport is very fun just needs more drift. COME ON CODEMASTERS DONT LEAVE US HANGING

There should be a grid game for just drifting and another grid for all other racing disciplines. Also leaderboards shouldn't work on he long u sit on your bum it should b who gets fastest laps and highest points for drifting. Also a wet track or interchangeable weather would be cool.

I was pleasantly surprised by the drifting in G:AS. The physics are fun but as pointed out earlier, it's lacking tracks - or at least the really good ones, such as Haruna and the Yokohama Docks.

On the track matter, I'd love to see some Japanese icons, like Ebisu, Sekia and Nikko...

The tandem, although it's a good idea (In fact, I would love to see it done), it's no easy to apply. The conditions that can or can't disqualify a driver in case of, by example, a collision are quite a bit complicated to determine, and most of times, the game makes unfair decisions (if you're familiar with touge on G2 you know random that system was on this aspect). I must say though, that being almost 2 months after release, there's virtually no hope of any major improvements to game modes to be made. That's not how AAA game design and publishing works.

I will be satisfied only with a few more tracks and a seprate Drift Challenge per week, altought it is on the Tuner categorie and the structure of the game is not going to change for sure now.

I have not too much hope but is a pitty that with these new physics the Drift is almost forgot into this game. In G2 we have 9 challenges per week and now only 6, Drift was a relative important part of the game in Grid, Grid 2 but in AS, wich IMHO is the best, is sad that there´s no presence at all.

I sum up to this topic and others in refference to the Drift almost absence and the dam GOOD it is. Don´t let it loose CM.

The funny thing here with me is that i used to be up in the leaderboard in Drift challenges Grid 2, i mean in the first ten positions and now...XD, i´m having difficulties to get the platinum...XD, believe or not i love the new AS Drift but for a nonsense reason, maniatic things and bad use of handbrake and steer in G2 now i paid the price, jajaja!!! but again i think is the best simcade Drift and enjoyable than ever, and more realistic than many others, by the way in G2 was awfull but i use to it and now...XD, i-am-bad!!
