We need a more expressive Gear Shift Sound in F1 2016!

Recommended Posts

In F1 2015 game, for example, I can't hear gearbox shifting;
That sound, like a drilling machine being turned on.
 hear only the linear sound of the engine, by natural change of speed...

The real would be:
http://www.formula1.com/content/fom-website/en/video/2016/4/Hamilton%27s_pole_lap_-_the_fastest_ever_in_Bahrain.html

It is as if there were two overlapping sounds,
The engine in the background,
and above, some audio effect that produces a sharp sound;
that is more expressively, as when the gear is changed to down faster (or is rising from low speed).
 But in any occasion there are this sound.

We need to remember, that those sounds in televisionbroadcast are different, that which driver hear. I use cockpit cam.

Yes, but I speak about others cameras as well, like TV POD OFFSET, for example.

Sounding like a drilling machine turned on? Just to be clear, are you talking about the high pitch whining sound on downshifts? If you are talking about the high pitch whining sound, that's the turbo spooling up.
