You have an opinion, as a grown up that's your right to have. But if we explain that it's technically not possible then be a grown up to understand. :)

That's fair enough. Would be nice to have more than 3 rallycross tracks

Yeah it would indeed. It's kinda difficult because they set out to create a rallygame so too much focus on other disciplines might have upset the rally fans a bit. On the other hand, too little content and the discipline is not interesting to play. They did however go to Barcelona to check out the Spanish WRX track, but no confirmation on that.

I feel like Rallycross should have it's own game including all 12 circuits, the supercars, lites and maybe some alternative tracks you find in the American, British and Scandinavian championships.

Sorry made the mistake of suggesting something that happens at some of the rally events

This topic has been beaten to death already during PC early access, you should have used the search function AND/OR post feature requests to Suggestion Box

You're being pretty wonky with your wishes.

You want authenticity, but your specific wishes don't reflect realism.
More to the point, if you took the time to do a little bit of research with the search function on the forum, then you would know that this game started as a passion project, therefore didn't have the budget of some other studios.

Resource limitations of all kinds can effect the result of a product, however it's the user's fault for unfairly expecting content that wasn't guaranteed or even promised to be in the final version.

What I'm trying to say is that the work Codies DR team have done should be appreciated, because they've given us the best rally game to date.

Dear Codemaster Team,

Thank you for great Rally Game on Consoles (Xbox One/PS4).

Pro:
+ Graphics (i love it!)
+ Simulation (yeah!)
+ Speed Feeling (so cool!)
+ Tracks (perfect and amazing!)

Contra:
- Multiplayer with only "1" Game Mode (RallyCross) :(
- RallyCross with only 3 Tracks :(

Why? Why such a bad online mode? The game is great and does everything right. But the Online Mode isn't from "2016"! We love to play "Standart Rally" and we hope, this "Standart Mode" will be an online mode!

PLEASE.. :)

@SwissCokehave you read the thread?

There won't be stage rally multiplayer because the game cannot handle multiple cars on the track at once. It is purely down to the engine limitations already being stretched due to the physics. Dirt Rally 2 might have it but this won't.

An online Rally game with no online rally is a joke the original dirt had just a leaderboard and that was useless. Please give us online rally and online Pikes Peak

Please keep in mind that Dirt Rally does not represent the follow-up of Dirt 3, this is a spin-off, same name yet completely different game set within the boundaries that are held in real rally driving.

Please do not defend this game. It is not about the issue of a successor. It's just that the game has a very bad online mode. Thats the fact....!

Please untersand me. The Game (Singleplayer Part) is very good. I'm just disappointed about the "Online mode" ...

Maybe a compromise idea: Race of Champions tracks?
I already put up this idea in the suggestionbox, yet everyone overlooked it, that would be a different variaty to rallycross, the stage will technically be longer and you'd be able to player versus a friend.

DR is an authentic rally game. If the engine could handle multiple cars on stage, that would mean that the car behind would need to wait 2 mins + until they could start.

Imagine you had a 10 player lobby... that would be boring, and quite frankly ridiculous for a videogame.

DiRT 3 wasn't aiming for the same level of authenticity as DR has, which is why D3 had cars starting just a few seconds behind in an arcade style. That just wouldn't work in this game, so if you want that sort of thing then I suggest you go back and play D3.

This game is the best they can possibly make it with the technical limitations they have, not my fault or theirs you don't want to listen to that. This is not a sequel to the simcade Dirt 3. This is a standalone far more realistic spinoff. Yes it would be nice to have more multiplayer options like this but we understand that it simply cannot be done at this time and accept that.

In short: the current engine doesn't support multiple cars on the new longer and more detailed rally stages. So, instead there are many other online events, such as leagues and daily/weekly/monthly challenges, as well as online rallycross pvp.

Plus, 10 second intervals really wouldn't work on this, just have a look at the leaderboards and you will see the differences in times between people. It would be a chaotic mess with half the lobby bunched up running in a train

fair enough it cant support multiple cars on the stage at once but surely they must add multiplayer rally where say 8 people join a lobby , host sets stage etc then for each player it goes into a single player rally and uploads the time(this is how richard burns rally ai times are done) into a lobby leaderboard at the end. This is possible through leagues which is fine for friends but by not having the ability to play random people is not how you grow a community.
