F1 2016 - player emotion

Recommended Posts

I no feel a big emotion when I cross the finish line, the flag is shake, but a cannot see easily. (in F1 2015, for example): The fans, they are not euphoric when the car come near to the victory. (We should can hear they).

There is a serie of things that could propose more emotion in player, including victory lap, with radio (realistic, with sound effect of real radio used) and team saying congratulations, fireworks in night tracks, for example, a short show after race. Including the execution of the hymns to podium winners. A complete celebration.

That is a good point. After I finish a race, I hardly ever get any satisfaction out of it. No matter how close it might get. Part of the reason is the race engineer. It just still feels like I'm having a robot in my ear.
Another part is, as you said, the whole spectacle is over way to quickly without being able to savour anything.

If I finish a closely fought race, I want to be able to do a victory lap, I want to hear the garage go crazy if I finish well, my race engineer congratulating me. Stuff like that. It's the little things, and they might not be as important, but it's the little things that make the experience all the more richer and more real.

Agree! To accomplish this though the race goals should be more realistic. Look at how happy Haas and Grosjean were with 6th and 5th place. If I put my Toro Rosso 4th on the grid, I don't think the race goal should be "finish 2nd". If I finish 4th the team should still be happy, not video of the driver stepping out and shaking his head..

Could play a theme victory song when player win, and a celebration more euphoric when driver that winner is of country GP.

I miss the F1 2010 engineer when he had emotion like when I took pole at Monza with a Toro Rosso "Woah that came outta nowhere"

Only problem with that was, after claiming 4 Pole Positions in a row, it surely didn't came out of nowhere. But yeah, at least he was always happy about my efforts. Jeff just can't be bothered most of the time :D
