Super 1600 Rallycross Xbox1 race start bug

When starting a race in Super1600 on Xbox one whilst using a controller the cars auto brake off the line leading to a 2-3 second disadvantage. (Playing with automatic gears) please fix this! Thankyou

I have yet to have that when playing.  You are probably just attempting a full-throttle launch and sitting spinning your wheels...

I've tried a lot of different tactics, and I must admit I'm struggling to get the cars off the line. Don't think I've ever been anything but last off the line in s1600, even with a fully upgraded car

I can confirm the issue.

@ KevM: please upload a video of you doing it right. Would like to see it. Just to inform, this happens (currently) only in carreer Rally-X using 1600 cars, for me on PS4.

I've tried everything except using manual gears.
At start, the AI is at the first corner before my car is in his second gear ... When doing a perfect race I can only finish 3rd due to the start.

To test, I drove the same track with the same car out of carreer, as the car is fully upgraded it starts a bit faster, but still very hard to finish on anything else than easy/normal.

I'm using manual gears and have the problem, low revs just seem to make it worse due to turbo lag. The AI is very difficult, but I'd be having some very close battles for the lead if I could get a good start. Instead I tend to be battling for second place

S1600 is damn close racing.  I'm really enjoying the battles so far!

I think minis suffer from the same issue. And the AI for the new classes are really hard.

Traction Control gets in the way, no matter what control type you're using, so you should turn it off. It limits throttle input to stop wheelspin, but in rally you need control over that. Turn off Stability Control too, that also gets in the way. These should really be off by default. ABS is up to you, it can help a lot with stopping distances in older cars but I personally leave it off.

With TC off, don't mash the throttle all the way on the launch, try holding it just below the rev limiter and letting the wheels catch before flooring it. You can also feather the brakes a little bit to stop wheelspin, but that takes a bit of finesse. You'll find a technique that works, just experiment with it.
