Stuck on start sequences - stages load but start countdown does not start

This happens as of today in all stages, Online or local and custom career events. I can select any event and load any stage, see the initial sequence when the car rolls up to the start line waiting at the first red light for the lights to light up and turn green and than nothing happens, the car is idling along with the crowd cheering forever without any light change and no countdown.

Have you turned off automatic launch control? If so you will need to hold/press the handbrake button.
