Speedometer - NEW HUD in F1 2016

Recommended Posts

You want to see acceleration and brake bar, separate?
Acceleration and brake separately, can you get a better (exact) idea of how you are using (pressing) both.

Bar 3 in 1 (Speed, throttle and break)
We had this HUD in F1 2015, that merge throttle and break in a single bar
(it still shows the speed, losing much accuracy in real vision of pressure on both):

Three bars (each one dedicated for a thing)
The real HUD of FOM is like this, that have a dedicated bar for throttle and another to break
(still show speed in another bar).

While I’m driving, I want the simplest display possible . The official TV HUD would be a terrible design for a driver to have to look at while he was racing.

*If* CM ever implement a telemetry mode during replays or while watching other drivers, though, then this sort of thing would undoubtedly be useful.

I'd want as much detail as possible. I loved how F1 CE showed your throttle and brake inputs.

I also want a HUD with separations,
causing me to train much better,
monitoring as I press the Xbox One control buttons.

New HUD ONLY if it's going to be the official F1 speedometer otherwise I think F1 2015's HUD is ok.
Yeah, or something little similar, just optimized to play, like the car icon, to show when pit is open.

My preference would be a better AI !
Better engineer information.
More stability online.
Career mode and things like tire saving/engine saving things.

Personally I don't really care about knowing how much throttle I'm using.

Yeah, more informations is good, I also want to see it.
I feel miss of some informations in game, when I do a lap in Time trial, for example, should have more statistics;
a interface with more details of times, marks in map, showing your lap, if better or not, by partials.
Comparison with another drivers. All like in TV.
Could be added a quick menu, that change basic options.

I think no because we dont need revs which takes up space however i like the throttle and brake, for say like trl limitless when he does time trial hotas and setups you can see his throttle on the exit of corners plus you can see what your doing each lap. In 2015 the speedo covers the right mirror a bit on cam abover cockpit (whatever its called)

Yes and No. I don't see that HUD, because I drive in the cockpitcam. That would be good example in race replay or hot lap replay.

Please allow the option to turn off individual elementa not all or nothing.

Please add an opacity slider. Those whites are very bright and leave ghosting on my screen for hours

But in Cockpit cam should be a simple HUD, that shows informations like when you use suggested gear (assists) and anything more that no show in the physic car, could be a horizontal bar, or the option to enable the complete HUD in menu for Cockpit cam.

If you are a Gamer Arcade,
It will not really care in accurately using the throttle and brake;
But if you will play in Elite, and IA Legend / Expert, then every detail makes the difference.

Yi may have miss said that... I meant I does look brilliant but the fom would just be, anyways I think it should just be f1 14 style showing your tyre stint and pit lap but I highly consider it

Not really because I play expert with no assist and I don't care about the speedometer because you can just have a simpler one that has the same detail but doesn't block quarter of the screen

Yes, but I'm not a Expert, and is more easy to me (with Xbox One Controller) be a Elite gamer, training by the way that I said, at least for me.

You don't know how I play, I play like elite settings as I stated earlier on with a t300rs whilst you are that guy who sits on his controller with all assists on and the ai on intermediate. So when you say be an elite gamer just stfu or think about it

Sorry, I did not understand exactly.
I was talking about speedometer.
I have no doubt that you are an Elite player.
I also want to be ( I do not play with assists, none, and usually play, even though I lose in the Legend. I actually more training in TIME TRIAL).

I just wanted to expose my humble idea (do not forget that it is my simple opinion, not the ultimate truth, who like, can bring this to your world, otherwise can ignore), that the speedometer is better with more information, with the certainty of their commands.
Note that drivers in real life, nor do they have that privilege,
to have a beautiful HUD to know how much they are accelerating, and braking.

They feel everything in the hands and feet, just, and they see lights and numbers on a panel on the steering wheel, and do not believe that having this information would make them better drivers. It is enough what they have there.

I believe I have a better idea of starting race mainly, it is very difficult without using assists (in F1 2015 and believe it will come the same in 2016 as it was perfect), you need to keep the accelerator exactly in the center, then immediately accelerate all, and drop, and go accelerating gradually, it's amazing. Even more complicated to me that I have only one control Xbox One. I am limited to triggers.

All I'm sayin is that the speedometer should just be like 2014 with a bit more detail so you can see more of the screen
