Seriously, no offence, but you're just bad. A game shows up that don't hold people by their hand and reward them for winning against AI that doesn't know what a throttle is and you have a gigantic storm of noobs complaining. Suck it up and git gud.
Mate are you talkin to me?
Im not complaining about AI, havnt even mentioned it and i certainly dont want this game any easier.

Depends on location. Kakaristo in Finland, you need to score a WR to beat Master AI by over 20s (Top 100 finish will give you a win),

So they maded game fore 100 peoples...
 Great job Codemasters, Great job...
But what about the rest of 278,193 players on PC and maybe ~600k players of consoles ? They can not have fun from this game huh ?
Interesting and again great job Codemasters.
Next time add the info on box "playable only for ~100 players"

EDIT
So Codemasters means Ubisoft,
they know how to f*^* up game.

By that logic, no sport can be fun unless you win the world championships.

You asked what that Dribble is. I answered it's a "noob". Rest was to the OP. What's there to confuse?

Another genius.
Games are for fun so how much fun you have when you always losing ?
If  I want a challenge I am going to PVP or changing difficulty LVL.
Let's go further with your logic - jail for killing in FPS games, compensation for car crashes, everything for better realism and experience/feeling because games are for 1:1 realism...
But wait a moment... Maybe check times in official WRC stage results ? Oh where is that realism huh ?

@TMZ - dude, I think a lot of people on this board have tried to be nice. Tried to give you suggestions on how to be better at the game. All that you've done is throw accusations and insults and pretty well conducted yourself like the spoiled child that you are.

You know what, it really seems that you're the minority. Everyone who plays this game loves it, except for you. I've got an idea - don't play the game anymore. I have an even better idea. Stop complaining about it and go away. I, for one, am tired of reading your boring posts.

You mean that 100 players which this game is made ? Or that few fanboys beyond which no one speaks ?
This game have ~800k players, this forum have maybe 20 different users and this topic have max 6 debaters. Maths 100/20/6 < 800k so how you can tell "everyone who plays, loves it"  LoL !

Well for one, you could look at the Steam reviews for this game. There are 7718 positive reviews and 711 negative ones, so the ratio of people who like the game vs those who don't is over 10 to 1 and about 8500 is a pretty decent sample size (and before you go about your 800K or whatever people, this is also how statistics works. You poll a part of your target audience and deduce results from that and with 8,5K people, it should be pretty acurate)

How big is proportion of players who have this game vs players participate in discussions about the game ?
Official statistics from steam say that the game has a 291,471 people (only PC version)
7718 gives a positive reviews
711 gives  a negative reviews
What about 283,042 players and their opinion ?
What about people who sold this game or return it ?
What about poeple who dont play because the AI level make this game unplayable for them ?
Do you hear about postive PR ?
Did you ever hear about sponsored reviews ?
You think reviews written in 24-48 hours after the game was released are reliable ?
I still talki about PS4 version and playing on gamepad.
And try to look on difference about this both versions(pc/console) (first difference is in car setup options...)

Impartiality so much...

Since when have you needed to be able to beat a game on the hardest difficulty for a game to be fun? I haven't managed to beat at AI (in rally anyway) on anything higher than Clubman and I'm loving the game. Don't let your ego get in the way, lower the difficulty a bit and be prepared to learn. If none of that is for you, then the game isn't for you. Don't blame the game because you didn't do research on what you were buying.

Are you not able to match the AI on the lowest setting? If you can match them on the lowest setting then you have nothing to moan about. There are no cars or locations in the game that are limited to the higher difficulties.

You know, instead of being sarcastic about the game, you could ask for tips on how to drive better. We'd probably tell you to be lighter on the throttle on the fast snowy sections like that, use an in-car or hood view so you can see the road better, try to stay as on the tire tracks as much as possible because they show the best line - but judging by the rest of this thread that's probably not what you want.

ah yah well by doing things right like that perhaps you end up losing to the first car by..., 20 seconds only or so. I mean you go flat out and still get lol'd by these completely stupid AI times.

But who cares, as "losing is fun".., was it?, roflmao

Driving too fast. Bad steering. Chase cam. Say all.
Man this is replay option...
I do not use chase camera because i can not play this way.

@BadD0g
I always use bumper, bonnet or dash camera in this type of games.
Cars in this game dancing like as strippers in go go club, no matter if is a 4WD or FWD/RWD car.
Higher toe at back wheels (when car is nervous) does not improve anything, lower camber at back wheels for better traction does nothing,  if the game want to f*k up your time will do it.
Soft springs ? Dancig on bumps and loss of traction
Hard springs? Dancing on bumps and loss of traction
Medium springs ? Dancing on bumps and loss of traction
Bumb/rebound - as above.

Thnx God for stages in Germany and maybe i win professional rally on 2 place.

Almost forgot. I am using this setup for my DS4 controller

You might think you are going flat out, but every extra step on the brakes, every wrong line and unwanted slide adds up, by a lot. And it's often better to ease off the gas on some corners. You go full throttle, you crash, you lose time. You don't go full throttle, you don't crash, you still lose time, but not as much

"Flat out" is not the same as the fastest way from start to finish. As have been repeated by numerous helpful posters in here:
- improve your line choices (make the turns as straight as possible)
- improve your braking  (slow in)
- improve your throttle control (fast out)
- and please use a camera view that let you see the road ahead  (though chase view can be useful in replays to evaluate the points above)

AND: as have been said countless times. On every difficulty level the best AI driver is quite fast. That's a design decison CM have made. And it doesn't matter! You only need a podium to progress.
I don't think I won any of the championships from Open to Elite. Now I can win a Masters championship with any car on any location with time to spare.
