wheels which will be compatible with F1 2016

Recommended Posts

Hello guys
Do we already have any info about which wheels will be supported on F1 2016? Im going to the USA in one month time and i really wanna buy the fanatec V2 base plus V3 pedals and the f1 wheel.
Fanatec recently removed ``PS4 compatible´´ but they say that it totally depends, in this case(f1 2016), from codemasters. That´s my question. Will fanatec be compatible with the F1 2016
?

They only did it because its not a licenced ps4 product (sony like £) ever since release it was said it been down to the devs to make them work with games on the ps4 and each one has worked for me on my ps4 ( have all the racing games ) I don't know for sure obviously but im 99% sure you will be safe getting one as there's not a wheel on console that can match the performance of the v2 so there surely must be one setup with each dev team (least from pics ive seen in the past ) plus im sure xMatty G was using a v2 with the GT rim in one pic I saw of them testing 2016 a few weeks back :) Btw good choice with the formula rim! Its so nice in the hands and the power of the ffb makes the wheel feel so connected to the games :) If getting one of the other rims in the future take fanatec's advice and wear gloves!! I wore my GT rim down so quick trying to hold on to the thing it now looks like a 20 year old wheel lol! If you order one mate let me know how the v3 pedal's feel as had my eye on them since release lol! Just my opinion but don't get it for xbox (hub) as you loose a lot of the wheel tuning functions and Imo every xbox game Ive played with the wheel feels like crap compared to my ps4 (same games) Know it don't answer your question but I can safely say if you buy one you would be 100% happy!!!

Can someone answer me? Will Thrustmaster Ferrari F430 Force Feedback Racing Wheel be compatible with F1 2016?
Isn't that a ps3 wheel only wheel? Unless u have a converter but still it's an old wheel but you could be in luck, because of the f458 wheel.

No it's not only a ps3 wheel I have a PC version :) I was suprised, because it fully works on F1 2015 so I hope it will be working fine on next game.
