How do i get Colin McRae Rally 2005 PC to play on a Windows 10 pc?

I have installed Colin McRae Rally 2005 PC version on my Microsoft surface but it wont play. Comes up with the error  "This Application can be launched with the release version Micosoft Windows 95/98/ME/NT 4.0/2000/XP / Server 2003 only'

Can anybody help me so this will play on Windows 2010 or Windows 8 or 8.1
