First F1 2016 Screenshots! + Article

Regarding the Red Bull driver lineup, I would actually be a bit more surprised if Max wasn't in the Red Bull. The reason mid season swaps weren't done before would have been down to getting the drivers licensed for use I imagine (Senna and Ricciardo in 2011 for example). That's not the case this year, both Max and Dani are already licensed in the game.

Looks like they're going back to live the life in career mode and by the sounds of it we'll actually see some proper R&D. Things I've personally been waiting for so so far so good.

I agree but I suspect  CM being who they are will likely do things the way I said and patch it later possibly. Tbh I'm more concerned with how Season 2 and subsequent season play out. Will they play out like Season 1 with the Mercs just running off into the distance or will we see things shift about season to season like with the early games.

They might adopt a similar technique as to what they used in F1 2015, where there is a more dominant driver every different season you do. For example in my case in my first season Rosberg was the fastest, then in my second it was Vettel. You can even see that in Tiametmarduk's F1 2015 career modes, where Lewis Hamilton was fastest in the first one and then it was Vettel in season 2, followed by Raikkonen is Pro Season mode.

When they say things like live the real drama and behind the scenes life and stuff in that article, by 'drama' I hope they mean things like engine failures (maybe an option, could be annoying sometimes) but really what I think it means is things like Mclaren Honda and Force India situations where they say they will have a new engine by Silverstone, but get it in Belgium or something :)

Well thinking about it now I suppose it's more of an every single team in F1 situation :D

Right, let's get this show back on the road.

Meh.

It looks nice, as it always does it, it sounds nice, like it always does, but I'll wait til it gets here. SC and Career should have been anyway, I'm pleasantly surprised they've put the effort in to put the VSC in.

As long as the AI are good and the bugs eliminated (AND FIXED WHEN THEY ARE THERE), then it will do a good job.

i feel a little bit sorry for codemasters but this is exactly the result of a much too late announcement...
Yes, it's a bit painful. But reading this article, there was a lot they could have teased.
Maybe, but every one of those screenshots would have had to be approved by FOM before CM could release them. In the past this has always been something that's held them up, and it may just be the case again this year.

Those are the players Who went to the beta test! They drive in my league!
Interesting. Is it a closed beta test? And more importantly, will there be a public one?

I'm not getting my hopes up, for obvious reasons, but who knows.

I really hope that CM have the initiative to have an open beta, it could even be a pre-order bonus, this would allow them to check the stability of the multiplayer on a much larger scale than a few people in the closed beta

Just to let CM and @jennyannem know that they are telling nothing at us till CM release something and get green light to talk about with us! So they are really great with the rules You've gave them!

Its not AOR guys that got the Beta, trust me. We think it may be a Dutch league that got the closed beta, one of their drivers just happen to drive in AOR as well

Still looking for any CO-OP information.... fingers crossed, that they re-implemented this to the game again, it's very much wanted...

Idk but I think I saw on a twitter post that the guy and girls that went to the test got a free copy of the game. Just a guess

At least now we know who's to blame if the game is filled with bugs and glitches. And there is potential for some juicy ones, given the new tyre regulations.
