Which number will you choose for Career Mode?

Not directed at you as such (if its your own opinion your threads are pointless, don't post them...), more directed at codies. We're up to two pages, on a topic almost akin to "pick a number between 0 and 99".

Based on an unconfirmed report that we can choose a number, for the unconfirmed 'self named' driver that we can create ourselves (also unconfirmed - though to be fair if they've listened at all...).

2 I think any number from 0 or 1-99  although 1 may be programmed to be only available if you're the reigning World Champion. Not sure though.

Hadn't heard about it :) But still if  I was a member of the family I would still sue and I know it was doing its job but who in their right mind would put a bloody digger on the same stretch of tarmac as a car that can get annihalated by a small tap with a wall ...

In fairness it was stupid of them to try to stage a race at all that day given the conditions as for the digger being there it was there rtying to recover another car Sutil's I believe who had just crashed as well when Bianchi was going through that section of track. TBH I'd hve sent the safety car out first to bring the field under control first personally then sent the recovery crews given the nature of the track but still what's done is done and all we can hope is that they learn from the mistakes made that day, so they don't happen again. In fairness though motor racing is and always has been dangerous always has been and always will be. Every driver and every team that participate knows it and accept the risks because it also can be thrilling and exciting on it's good days.

If we are able to choose our umber then....I don't really know.

Being able to choose a number seems like a massive hurdle to have gotten through, if that's the case. We know how strict the license is so it seems like it could be a breakthrough. Maybe we'll have our own name on our overalls instead of the driver we replace?

yeah sounds like that maybe they might have convinced the FIA to ease up on the reins a bit  however we won't know 100% until the game comes out though.

I guess about the driver numbers you cant take the numbers allready taken.
i know max wanted number 3, but it was allready taken so now he drives with 33.
i think we are in the same position as max was 1,5 year ago.

Yeah there are a couple of numbers I would like to have but because other drivers are using them I'm not sure I'd be able to so we'll have to wait and see. But if I can't then I'll likely just pick a number at random as I'm not really superstitious and I'm not really bothered about what number I carry that much so long as I can race and hopefully win.

Seems so as the announcement thread says you can choose the colours of your helmet ... I would die for maybe like Red Bull branding on the helmet if you drive for them or Torro Rosso  <3
