I come to think, why do we apply for a beta? We are always arguing about bugs in codemasters F1 games and now we are eagerly waiting to get a probably more buggier version.

But still glad to see that no mail about a beta in my mailbox still doesn't mean I was not picked  :p

yeah that's the most likely scenario in that a couple of bugs reared their ugly heads in is what delayed things today.

or updated some things like the car model or something. I am not sure as they said they updated things 

I wouldn't have thought so as the 2016  assets won't likely get put in until the last minute. Once everything else has been checked off.

I hope Codemasters consider the choices of beta testers in addition to the message form (I myself was not able to write well because I thought that the entries finished in seconds, so I wrote very briefly). Well, to the oldest users, the threads opened in the forum, for us, are living proof of who we are here.

Why do you suspect the new game to be buggier. That's an assumption based on the last game.

Well, an early beta version is bound to be buggier than the previous full release. Some features get build from the ground up, and polishing and fixing bugs gets done near the end of the development phase. So yeah it's obvious to think an early beta version of the 2016 will not be as stable as the full release will be.

Why you should participate? Well this is THE chance to change the game, at least, the handling of it. That's wat I see going wrong. Some people (not all obviously) expect to go in to the beta like it's an opportunity to play early, while in fact it's an opportunity to help Codemasters take the right steps in their handling development. You're in fact a QA tester in this case, focused on handling feel.

looking at all the posts from yesterday,,theses new lads just killed the beta,trolling the site,posting to everything,,and not reading the start of a post,,then trying to tell everyone wot to do with the beta like they are pro game makers,if they cant keep quite now,,then god help the beta.

Just a thought Jenny, but if its going to take much past today, why not email those who have already been chosen with a message that their codes will be sent out asap.  And obviously a message on here to let everyone know.  Would put a lot out of their misery :)

i think they have enough to do don't you think? so 2 times the email circuit is a little to much........we all got te stay patient

This beta is going to provide some excellent feedback and data back to the Codemasters team. Brilliant why they're doing.

They would still have to copy paste 300 email addresses even if they do use a mass-sender so everybody gets the same message. I'd rather they use that time to send codes out. In which case - they would probably have to email users one-by-one which will be draining and take all day to complete. 

Be patient, wait a bit, if you don't have an email by tomorrow then you most likely weren't chosen.

I know that feeling. Im a F1 Gamer since 2006 and normaly cant wait for the Games. But you have to see it in this way: Normally we didn't get a Chance to play this Game in this early Time. So Lets wait and see. When they Release the Codes later because they found Bugs, Its better because in other way everybody would be angry why they are bugs. Be patient, im one of the biggest Fans of F1 and of the Games since years. :D
