I assume there is a personalized code. Which is made unique once you use it in steam (for PC).

Yes, because there will be a personal code for the beta (if I'm correct). If it would be the same code for everyone, people could spread the code in social media and soon there would be thousands of people playing the beta.

Then they are probably still getting the build updated as Jenny mentioned yesterday before releasing it on the platforms.

The are maybe still writing all the emails to send to all the 300 people! I feel so sorry for Codemasters but I suppose it was there choice to do it.
