Wow what a List, nearly as good as Mine. F1 games are the only one with real racing experience like quali and pitstops, that's why i like them :)

First one I played was probably Formula 1 95, round my uncles, though I also had a bash at F1 World Championship on N64.
Borrowed F1 2000 from my uncles, and that was that., Went back and brought all the psygnosis titles, and every F1 game on console since. Favourite remains F1 Championship 2000 on PSX. Amazing game for its time, can still play it today easily.

Grand Prix 2. Moved on to GP3 and GP4 before going to F1 Challenge. Then on to rFactor before joining F1 2010.

I remember the hype back in the day, when Ralph Hummerich released a new car set for GP3 2000  :D

Didn't you own the EA F1 games? 2001, 2002 and Career Challenge?

3D Grand Prix on Amstrad CPC 464 cassette tape from 1984!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsJXrljJj0A

On PC the first I played was Grand Prix Circuit on a green screen "portable" that was the size of a briefcase! However that was a borrowed copy. The first one I bought was Grand Prix 2.

I now own every PC game with an F1 car in (or F1 replica car). I'm working on a huge screenshot comparison of them all, which I'll release at some point!

F1 2000 (PS1) on PS2. That game was sick. I remember thtat I could not save the game during a season (I don't remember if that was game-related or I did not just have a memory card on my PS2 at that time (F1 was one of the first two games I got for my PS2 but my uncle decided to purchase PS1-games instead of PS2-games lol)) so i drove a entire season in one day (10-lap races or something like that). I just remember that my eyes were really tired that evening. :D Had only one bathroom/eating break. :D

+1 to those mentioning Grand Prix Circuit as well, thought that was great back in the day.
God I'd forgotten about that one, I had that.

What was the one called on the old Atari that was on the Fuji track, the name escapes me?
Pole position ?
That's the one.  Was great fun at the time

Formula One on PS1 based on the 1995 season. Pedro Diniz became a legendary multiple world champion driving the superb Forti.

@BrooksGP which console was Grand Prix unlimited on
Haha, no console mate, it was a 1992 PC DOS game. I spent an unthinkable amount if time playing that game as a kid, at either my place or my best friends (his dad designed and built their own wheel and pedals from bits of steel and wood and home made electrics).

Then GP2 came out and we played that to death (broke the wheel and pedals a few times too)!

I've never been really into console f1 games. They just don't feel right to me somehow. I can't explain why. But I do love the Gran Turismo series for PS... go figure.
