Can F1 2016 have the same release date in NA as in europe?

Recommended Posts

Here in North America we get the release about a week after Europe, can it come out on the same day? Or closer together? It sucks watching other people play it and losing a little of that first time experience because you're watching them

I think that the customer base for F1 is so small here in N.A that CM and other European developers don't really care about us...for F1 2013 they never even released a physical disc in N.A...

Across St6eam perhaps but in terms of disccopies that's down to the retailers and there's too many of them to keep track off so I'd say it's unlikely.

Actually North America got the Xbox 360 version. There was not a PS3 version for some odd reason

From a logistics perspective it makes sense that Europe gets the game before NA because the digital content is produced there and it takes some time for the physical disk to wend its way to the Americas from Europe. I don't mind the delay one bit  - it's just logical !!!

So fifa is made in canada does that mean we should get the game 1 week before everyone else?

No. Because EA is a much bigger company then Codies.
They sell a couple of million FIFA games. Codies not even 1 million worldwide.

Some of it is also just down to the way things are usually done in the local markets... in the US, games have traditionally released on Tuesdays, while in Europe they've released on Fridays.

EA is a far bigger company with many bases across the world, whilst Codemasters is only in the UK.

It's the publishers that decide when it's released though, and Codemasters have (often different) publishers in Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific.

i think that the release date will be in July like 2015 for few reasons..

#1 Codemasters is a british company and the British GP is in July.

#2 F1 2015 was released in July (almost at the beginning of the season)

#3 I don't think they will release it in august/september.. because its too late and the season will be almost over.

#4 i think that they have been working on the 2016 fews weeks after the release of 2015 because they knew what they were going to do with the 2016, i think 2015 was just a test.. the ultimate 2016 game will be the best... by taking elements from 2010,2011 and add few 2015 elements.

all i want is really good physics (i want the cars to be a bit difficult to drive..challenging),

engine sounds really close to what he can hear on tv, tyres are important too with fuel etc..

IA should be improve too.

But the multiplayer/LAN/Online really need to be better.

and finally a game without 200 bugs :P

#1 So what? Other f1 games they released in September or even October.
#2 7-8 races in you call it almost beginning? If this was couple of years ago july would be mid season already.
#3 See #1
#4 This is pointless
