DiRT Rally v1.11 patch - with update to Pikes Peak!

PS4, T300 here.
Applied the patch this lunchtime and loaded the game up to see that all of my personal prefs had been reset.
I noticed when, at the start of a league event, being told to apply my handbrake, "I am", I thought, oh...

Also have the issue with the gimped menus. Drastically cut down- missing the calibration stuff, missing the "return to centre" stuff and, crucially, the feedback settings are not only reduced to four, the four that are there are all greyed out. I've literally just got an on/off option for feedback now, that's it.

We needed more ways to tweak the slightly underwhelming feedback not so few that we can basically only turn it on or off now. Driving feels odd too- I was right in the middle of a championship- same car, track etc and the turn in feels very lazy now, regardless of what actual rotation the wheel is set to.

Please confirm Codemasters- A. Was this drastic feedback change planned?
B. How long can we expect to be playing with this limited, and if your calibration goes out, broken version, when will you give us the fine control back?
Same as above all gone to pot....update said version 1.02 on mine not 1.11 ?

Lol. What a mess. My wheel went from a limping stage (still playable) to full coma. It's obvious which one I'm using on ps4. I'm back on project cars for now.

Seems like the only way to play the game with the wheel now (T150, PS4) is to reinstall it without the patch. Will I lose my saved settings and setups by doing this?

Totally agree, I'm back on project cars until this is fixed, was really loving this game too.

Thank you, DiRT Team. All of your hard work is appreciated.

I've been on this forum for awhile and I've gotta say, I've never seen so much moaning and whining in one place. I've had more adult conversations in a daycare. I'm impressed at how you handle yourself, @ChristinaMc

I think the moral of the story is, you all should've bought a Logitech G29. It works beautifully!!

We all love this game, that's why we are frustrating to be suddenly unable to play with it (which is the case with our wheel) and I think you should understand that exactly as @ChristinaMc do (hopefully) !

I was worried about the same thing, I'm just going to play something else until this is fully fixed .

Everything back to "normal" on a PC with G27 + Fanatec SQ shifter + Fanatec HB + DSD box + Renovatio SRD-9C (all 5 working ok)
RX is now playable again, did not notice any huge difference for Pikes Peak (I only play the full gravel version of the track, personnal record is a mediocre 8:55 with the Audi).
Just one small thing: the splash screen still displays v1.1 and not 1.11, but that does matter a lot
PS: PLEASE DO NOT DESTROY IT AGAIN FOR THE NEXT PATCH!!!!

I have the same problem as other T150 users on the PS4. Almost no response when turning the wheel, which makes the game unplayable. Only a few settings to change the FFB but that are grayed out so I can't  change them. I can't find the wheel calibration settings anymore (looks like they have been removed).

I hope it doesn't take another month or two to get this fixed in the next patch... Was really enjoying the game and I finally had some free time to play but I guess I'll have to spend it on Project Cars.

You will not loose anything, but just to be sure upload the save to the cloud (or to a usb drive) before uninstalling.
I uninstalled the game from ps4, disabled the network connection in ps4 system settings the reinstalled the game, everything is working fine, ok I don't have the D1 patch but at least the game is perfectly playable. Sadly without the D1 patch my TH8A doesn't work in sequential mode (I
normally use it as an handbrake) and obviously I can't play the online events...

Please Codies fix this Thrustmaster mess soon!

Thanks, @ChristinaMc ! Just one question: can we expect to have a Hot Fix (i.e. available in a few hours/days) ? Or the only thing possible for you is to include this fix in the next patch 1.12 or so, which will be available way later ?

"Hot Fix" is the term I believe you're looking for.

We're not sure at the moment. As soon as I have some rough guidance as to timeframes, I'll come right back here.

@romspeed We still need to go through the usual first party submission process.  It is something we are wanting to get out sooner rather than waiting for a larger patch.

@ Christina and CM, thank you for the updates and the continual communication with regard to this issue.

I for one (and I assume many others) appreciate it.

My T150 doesn't work like it should anymore- it used to be much more precise. Also, what's with the greyed out areas in ffb options and lack of wheel callibration? The game is almost unplayable for me now :(
Phew, thanks for the post. I was worried that it was just me.
We've had this feedback elsewhere too - will get on it ASAP.
Please put back steering linearity negative values, it was working fine with -6
Soft lock is also missing, big difference in control with a 1080 degree wheel like the T300 ! :(

all grey out ffb and vibration, they are active like shown in light grey or inactive ?
because mine all show 150% like i set them, but cant feel much.

We need more ffb feeling, not less... ;)

Have fun fixing it, we put our hope in devs with magic fingers.
Lets wish it wont take over a month, it's already taking forever for sony to release codemaster patches sometime (seen it with AutoSport on PS4 !)

Good luck ChristinaMC and CM team.

1. no FFB effect when driving over curbs in Rally Cross - was that always behaving that way?
Haven't played it for a long time due the vibration isse for FFB.

2. No inside  mirror for Rally Cross Corsa - wasn't driving that car before, so I'm not sure if it was ever present. In the 207 it's half visible and only the Clio has a fully visible one. On the other hand all normal Rally cars a full mirror, if I rember right - here it's not really making sense.

Not sure about the curbs specifically but the feedback is muted now- it lacks the "grain" you could previously feel when the tyres were scrubbing over rough surfaces.

Well this is terrible news! Going through submission means weeks of waiting, and that starts after you think you got the fix. And I noticed he says "wanting", not that same as doing. Can't believe they broke the game for the dedicated wheels for PS4 users and here we are 24 hours later and no fix? And now it looks like will have to wait weeks if not a month or more. WOW. I have seen many Devs in this situation put out a Hot Fix on consoles inside of 24 hours. So if they can do it , why can't CM? OR better question, why want they?

everyone complaing about force feedback for wheels.
what about force feedback issues on a pad. Its way too low. 30% on pcars has more vibration than dirt rally on 150%. even dirt 3 has more vibration. It would improve the feel if it was turned up
