Can somebody who has installed the latest patch and is still not happy with their ffb please try this for me and see it improves?
Transfer the Dirt Rally save game file to USB drive and then DELETE the save game file from the PS4. Next start the game and set everything up as is if you have just started the game from new, DO NOT install the save game from the USB drive yet. Try driving a custom event and see if the ffb back feels any different with all the settings at max. If it does you can then exit the game and reload the save file from the USB and hopefully you should then get access to your previous progress and now excellent ffb?
It worked for me so may work for you, and you will be in NO doubt whether it worked or not if it does work
Agree. It worked for me too.

Is it possible to check whether it works simply by creating a new profile on the PS4, starting the game there and then comparing the ffb? Will it feel different? I'm quite curious.

Feel free to give it a go but I'm not sure if it will save two  profiles and I'm having wahay too much fun playing with my new found ffb to waste time trying, it's absoloutley sublime and makes the car so much easier to drive. I even started a new open championship with the Renault and came 1st in three of the four events without having any upgrades on the car and making some mistakes

I tried this method on T150 and didn't feel any major improvement. It's curious how those two wheels behave differently. :)

I didn't reinstall anything, my FFB was much better with just the patch.  And I also find cars easier to drive because the FFB is so dead on with my T300rs,  not to mention way more fun.

Is it me or has the way the replays are being presented changed? I can't remember how it was before, but when watching RX replays the view tries to stay on external views (TV camera) all the time instead of switching randomly from external to onboard. Can anybody confirm this is the case?

I had also noticed this before my replays started acting up on my ps4.

Logitech G920 user here on PC. Feedback feels lifeless since patch.

No more catching the wheel in RWD cars or anything that makes me fight for the wheel like it used to. I had no gripes with the FFB previously. The only kind of feedback I get now is  a little bit of torque steer, which just stops at about 15 degrees.

The only way I can get cars round the corner is if I just turn the wheel, which right now just feels heavy. If I turn the wheel at 90 degrees, it will just stick there until I decide to move it. There's no resistance or anything that made the feedback good in the first place.

What's weird is that my cousin has the same wheel for the XBone version, and his plays fine. It's just a PC problem it would seem. I've played with vibration and feedback, but the only difference is that cranking it up makes the wheel heavier.

Hope this gets looked it as well. Really not enjoying the game atm. :(

If this had happened to everybody else there would have been a right s**tstorm on here by now, I suspect you've got a setting wrong somewhere or your wheel is broken?

It's gotten better with each update. Wales/Greece/Monte switches alot. Germany is a bit better, Finland also. Sweden is the best place for roadside replays. RX has always been descent.

I accidentally came across a bit of a glitch when I inadvertently pushed over one of the sliders whilst testing stick sensitivity in the advanced controller setup.

If you have braking saturation set to 125% (or more) and bring your car to a dead stop, reverse gear becomes either non selectable in semi-automatic or just not there in automatic shifting. It came to light whilst following one of my usual "hairpin left into tree" pace notes.

Also, a plea to Codemasters. Now that I've 100% completed the game (achievements) I would like to concentrate my efforts on setting up some custom multi-stage rallies and having a go at racing against and improving my own personal best times for entire 12 stage rallies. The problem is, although I can set up a specific rally to meet my requirements and the split times for each driven stage do indeed work correctly, the game doesn't correctly calculate the accumulated PB stage times during the progression of the rally. A single stage v's personal best rally works fine but multiple stages simply refuse to play ball. Humbug.

Because it is a selectable option in the game it would be nice to be able to take advantage of it, so hopefully Codemasters could find a little time to address the problem. It's not a game breaking thing but it would be nice to compete against myself - as opposed to either the AI or community delta opponents.

Oh, it has nothing to do with racing against blank times (I have a near full set in 2010 class) because I can go from being 3 seconds up to 6 minutes down in the space of a single stage.

Thank you.

bring back the old assists and the abilty to change the handling because the handling is so terrible and the fact when your going as fast as possible without crashing your split time is like plus 50 seconds and your in 10th place, please make an option for new players with the basic settings like with the assisted green line and auto breaking

my dad was a former rally driver and he played this and he said the handling is not like a rally car and that this game needs serious improvement because it is a disgrace to poor colin mcrae and to other rally members

If you want the game to brake for you, then this is not the game for you. If you do want to play this game, you just have to put the hours in, everybody struggles in the beginning. If you're losing 50 seconds by "going as fast as possible without crashing", you need more practice. The line you take through the corners, every tap on the brakes and every time where you don't press the gas hard enought adds up in the end, by a lot.
Also, check if your car has all the upgrades, because that does make a difference.

So... I assume your dad's rally car had auto-brakes then.

Y'know, my dad used to be pretty good behind the wheel of his Porsche, but when I let him try one the games he was all over the place and ripped the wheel off my stand and broke my shifter cable. It's pretty common for a lot of people new to toy wheels to suck. So, I'm not really going to pay much attention to your dad's thoughts until he gets good at racing in the virtual world. All things considered though, DR is NOT a simulator, never has been. All of the simulators tend to be full of BS that doesn't make sense anyways, so you have to take them with a rather large dose of salt to enjoy them.

And a dude hanging off the end of a long pole attached to the bonnet, holding a can of green Dulux and furiously painting a guide line.

I have a pretty annoying soundbug since the VR Patch.
Everytime i release the throttle, it sounds like playing the soundsample backwards. And there is a split second of silence after that "fffft". And no, I'm not talking about some turbobypass. :)

Thanks @Porkhammer.
But it seems to be a different problem. Drivers and settings are fine and there are more people talking about this bug here: http://forums.codemasters.com/discussion/42810/dirt-rally-update-version-1-2-found-a-bug-post-it-here#latest
