PS4 T300 FFB and wheel settings broken after patch 1.02

Recommended Posts

After downloading the latest patch the game is not usable whilst using a T300. The settings panels are greyed out, the FFB is non-existent, and no matter what degree of rotation you set there is serious lag from input to screen. How can such a bug be present on a new patch? Surely this patch is tested using third party wheels that the devs state are compatible with the game. Oh well another Codemasters game set to be put in the drawer just like I did with F1 2015 for the first months. Any workaround or fixes anyone aware of until they fix this balls up?

Nope. No fix or workaround. We'll just have to wait. Tbh, I'm not playing the game until it's fixed. I'm not saying that to be dramatic it's just that the game doesn't feel good without my FFB working properly so I'll play other games that I'll get greater enjoyment from.

The patch appears to have locked the DOR at 360 which is a lot less than the default for the wheel, to remedy this you have to press and release at the same time (on the wheel) the "look right" button and the button next to the mode light - the mode light should then flash once, repeat this and it should flash twice. Now go to the advanced wheel settings in the game and check that steering sensitivity is 100. Steering linearity is 0. Steering dead zone is 0. Steering saturation is 100.  This should make the game driveable again for you?
This works on my t300 and t500, don't know about the t150?  Let me know if it helps?

It can help a little, but frankly better play to another game... PCARS and SLRE are far way better at this moment

Hi all, as per the other threads discussing this issue, we're aware of the issues being experienced by PS4/Thrustmaster users - and we're working to fix these as soon as possible. We're really sorry about the inconvenience to our TM users, and please be assured that we're looking to fix this as a priority. I'm going to close this thread in the interests of keeping the feedback as streamlined as possible, as there are a handful of other, more established threads addressing the same topic - but you can keep updated in the larger threads in General Discussion and Tech Assistance. Thanks for taking the time to come onto our forums and provide the details of your issues - it's really appreciated.
