telemetry in F1 2016 ?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, just read this blog about the new game (http://nextgengamingblog.com/blog/e3-2016-f1-2016-preview/). And am I wrong or is he really saying there will be telemetry available in F1 2016 ?
would be great :)

Yeah, heard that also from him, but i was wondering, because this guy is talking about the exact telemetry of turn 3. That's when i thought it can't be the tyre wear graph.

Oh I hope that there is the option to have basic telemetry for those who don't understand its relevance and indepth telemetry for those of us who actually use it for setups. That's one thing I totally loved about Grand Prix 4 and the amount of information you can learn about your setup, driving style, fuel load etc! Let's see how CM go with telemetry if indeed it is in the final game!

Telemetry is usefull if you get interested in it. There's a lot of tutorials on the net to handle with it.
I've tried this on project cars and it helped me improve laptimes, so why not on f1 2016.

I certainly agree with all.
Hoping that there is some kind of force feedback data telemetry and more adjustable options of force feedback parameters for wheel users.  :|

@refmol1997 Sure sounds like it to me: "Want to be able to check out the telemetry of the car on turn 3 at Silverstone? You can go back and look into those details." While in F1 2015 we have adjustable car telemetry, this is referring to checking the telemetry stats frozen at a point in time of a given event, at least that's what it sounds like to me - anyone agree, disagree?

Telemetry being available is one thing. To know how to read it is something completly different. Next to this, you should be able to put in very consistent laptimes to see if you realy improve after changing the setup. For me, at the moment that wouldn't work. Not consistent enough. For the top drivers it probably will help them improve even further. And it's time consuming.

Advice from the enigineer going through the data would be a nice feature for those among us not going all the way.

This sounds promising - it has been a significant weakness - particularly when comparing to GP4 and F1 Challenge. Overall the 2016 version looks like there are major improvements.

it sounds awesome  well done, codies. This game will from what I hear definetly be the best in the franchise.

I don't believe there is advanced telemetry such as in PCars.  There is very basic telemetry though that basically shows tyre wear, tyre temps, brake temps, and any damage

There is basic telemetry because the physics model is basic. The advanced stuff is not simulated at all.

Yes the telemetry is just related to tyres and brakes from what I've seen so far. But nothing like was mentioned in that video where you could compare tyre wear between drivers.
