Spacepadrille 28 Posted June 24, 2016 Hi all T300 users ! The new patch is there. I just played a few minutes, and I don't really know if the FFB as changed or not. On tarmac for me it is still very flat.I open this discussion to make people share their FFB settings for the T300, and discuss about it. Do we need one setting for tarmac and an other one for gravel/snow ? Does the "motor" FFB pollute the FFB or is it a good thing ? Things like that. For now, my previous settings seems to be outdated. I will try to tweak tonight and post the results (if there are some) here. Feel free to do same
CanadianBakinMa 0 Posted June 24, 2016 I'm definitely not getting the force I do from project cars on tarmac. I'm just happy I'm back on dirt

I'm sticking to the previous patch at the moment because my ffb is awesome, I've got plenty of feel on the Tarmac at Monte Carlo and it disappears a little when you get on the ice, before it used to be the other way round. I can even feel the ruts as I drive off the Tarmac onto ice, plus the feeling of the weight transfer from front to back and side to side and can even feel when the rear end is starting to slide out so I'm reluctant to install the new patch until lots of people say it's better than the original as I won't be able to get back to the 1st patch again Good to have news from you. I was thinking about you while posting the above message. Not sure, but I think you have better to stay to patch 1.02 with the workaround a little bit more... it was not working for me anymore yesterday, that's why I downloaded patch 1.03. I have to test more tonight, but for me 1.02 + working workaround is better than patch 1.03. To be confirmed...
madwak 0 Posted June 24, 2016 Thanks for that, on patch one I've got all the ffb settings maxed out by loading a saved profile and I'm loving it. I can't believe how much difference you can feel in the ffb when using the integrale 4wd and changing the power balance from the front to the rear wheels it's ruddy awesome  and I forgot to say the feel of the ffb even changes when you change the suspension settings to hard when on a slightly rough surface due to to the wheels not making quite as much contact with the road

It was like this 3 days ago, but yesterday it was broken... :-(And I have a shifter, so I upgraded to 1.03.I will never forget the 2 nights playing Dirt with a real good FFB... MLT24 0 Posted June 24, 2016 Has changed for me from how it was before. Now the higher % you use, the better the FFB. I have to turn all of them above 100% to get good FFB, and at 150% I have weight to cars and tracks I didn't have before. Before we had to turn certain ones down in the 50's per Thrustmasters suggestions to get FFB, nothing above 100 did anything before. Still even with everything at 150% it is enjoyable, FFB should be more aggressive.
Spacepadrille 28 Posted June 24, 2016 Definitively the FFB of the patch 1.03 is the same mud than 1.01 :-1: Too bad :-(
madwak 0 Posted June 25, 2016 I've just picked up another ps4 so I can try dirt with no patch and then with new patch to see if there is any difference
Spacepadrille 28 Posted June 26, 2016 FFB too weak for T300 SOLVED ! B) I made a copy of my save Dirt progress on a USB storage. I deleted all dirt stuff on my PS4. Re-installed the game, and started a new career. At this point the FFB was "GOOD".I deleted the new dirt progress and put back my previous one from the usb storage to the PS4.Restart Dirt and... It's working ! To be clear : FFB is GREAT on gravels/mud/snow, better than ever. On tarmac, it's really better than before, but not fantastic at all (that seems "normal" with this game).I made the wheel calibration at default 1080°. I pushed quite hard the wheel at the end to have 100% and not 96%.After that I play with soft lock on and wheel set to 1080°. It's feels really better like this than putting 540° on the wheel. madwak 0 Posted June 26, 2016 Glad to hear you've finally got it working mate. Another strange thing I noticed yesterday when I set the new ps4 up is I tried Sebastian Loeb evo and the ffb was much improved on that as well. I'm now pretty sure that the error was with the ps4 all along. Need to try all my other games later and see if there's any difference with them too?
Spacepadrille 28 Posted June 26, 2016 @madwak : Sebastien Loeb Rally's FFB has really improved since their last patch (a successfull patch, Codies ). And this was before the last PS4 update. On tarmac it's way better than actual Dirt :-(
