driver vision

Recommended Posts

when you're driving i noticed its hard to see very far like stuff you should be able to see in real life is blurry in game, like instead of my guy having 20/20 vision (or 6/6 vision for the people in Europe) it feels  like i have 20/40 vision or 6/12 vision (Europe) since drivers im pretty sure are required to have like 20/20 vision shouldnt we have the same and it could make the game look a little nicer maybe? would also help in spotting your braking points

Its the god awfull camera shake that shakes the whole time the car is moving. The thing even shakes rolling out of pit lane. In the fashion of codemasters logic on how to design a F1 game, They spent untold amounts of effort to make the best graphics for the F1 games. Then at some point someone leans back and thinks to theirself It would be a good idea to put in a constant camera shake that totally ruins all the amont of work that was put into having good graphics. Athough I do find it funny that when spending the effort to put in the camera shake no one spent any of that time to  add a option to turn the dam thing off

The question of the environment have not seen very Clearly.

I want to make my remarks on the driver view from inside the cockpit,
That is Practically Perfect, Codemasters it's right, the image that made SkySports cameras in the driver eye and show the vision he has is exactly identical to that Codemasters has in F1 here. So for 2016 there may be a minimal adjustment, but no surprises. I just want to remember the question of simulations, for example: The pilot turns his head sideways in many moments, because you need to look at the entrance of the curve, well, that can be simulated with vision control, is not automatic, could so leave manual, but Improve the vision control, adding to an elastic movement, Causing a transition to the image go to the side, and Gradually return to the center. Leaving the more natural movement.

Yes but their eyes can focus incredibly quickly and it's almost in-human how fast they see things. You do need 20/20 vision to see stuff that quickly and see as much as they do at speed. Also again this is still a camera it doesn't fully represent what they see and how the eye see's it.

i disagree the camera is exact its infrared its tracking exact eye movements and its latest technology i have to assume that its accurate

That's what I said. I was on about how you actually see it with your real eyes like the color pallets and retinas.

One thing I have realized on all cameras,
Codemasters cares a lot to show the sky,
more than the track where the car is.
The important thing to drive well is the track,
see the ground, not the sky.

Example:

Instead, the camera might look like:
Facilitating the view of the track, the corners, all at last. Where is the most important to be seen, the track.

I know. But pointed down is better to see the corners. You have a angle greater to see the corner long before reaching on them.

I have super human vision, 10/20 both eyes.  But the blur in game is mostly there to limit the amount of people it makes motion sick. I do agree it should be adjustable.

My guess that's mainly done so far off stuff can have lower poly architecture so therefor help the framerate.

If Codemasters not putting the view inside the helmet in Cokcpit Cam also (beyond of the traditional), I'll be forced to play F1 2016 thus:
