MLT24 0 Posted July 8, 2014 So is there any reason to race offline other than to complete it? Most games offline career helps with your online in some way of buying cars, etc, but in this game i can't see a reason to race career since it doesn't seem to help my online?I race the RacNet events with my bought cars to try and build them up and race them online multiplayer, but I have not see any way in career to build these cars up? So please someone tell me how this game works as for progression between career and online. Thanks
FurnaceInferno 0 Posted July 8, 2014 They are completely separate, personally I prefer singleplayer, way too many rammers/cheaters online for my liking and more often than not you get kicked out for winning to much anyway. So really if you are only interested in multiplayer and racing others you won't be missing out on anything if you skip the career, just like COD, that way you aren't forced to do anything you don't want to. Rapster 1 Posted July 8, 2014 Career and Online progressions are totally separate entities. It's covered quite well in one of the blogs, click the 'CODIES BLOG' link at the top of the page if you want to learn a little more.
MLT24 0 Posted July 8, 2014 thanks for the info!!! now i know what i need to do. i usually always play career in every game, but if it doesn't help my online at all, then i need to work on that. i like the weekly RaceNet events so that is online. Got to build up the cars to compete with those times. That is more fun than racing AI just for the sake of racing AI. But whole game is fun.
SteV 13 Posted July 8, 2014 They are completely separate yes but to me it seems they put all the meaty and technical stuff and time investing stuff in the online section, again. I mean we can't even use custom liveries in offline single player. Unless I'm missing something here....
