Recommended Posts

Wow,  the update is 10.2 Gb so there must be alot more than just a VR upgrade !  B)

Also $89.99 on the Oculus Home Store ... sure glad I bought it early access the day of release on Steam for about 40 bucks.  :)

From the readme:

Press the Ctrl key to recentre

Huh this seems like a big update only for the VR! Hopefully there will be a few small bug-fixes deployed as well :) Is there an official change log already?

Eeek what is that massively overdone compressor effect on the audio?!
Love dirt rally, really not liking that audio effect, though. Please give an option to disable!

Using R9 390 here, am playing on the low preset to assure stable framerate, but medium should be possible in rallycross without framedrops.

How's the performance? I can wait to give this a try tonight.
Can't get 90fps in my CV1.

Seems to be locked on 70-75fps....

Tried changing vsync, graphics options etc and no joy....

Will persevere but gutted as I have a day off work to Rally ! :(

Which graphics card are you using, and which graphical settings?
Isn't it locked in the driver software somewhere? (you're probably not experiencing the same issue in other games so this is probably not it)

OK, fixed my problem by changing the resolution in graphics to 1024 x 768 - go figger.........

Tinkered and got 90fps with my rig on HIGH.

Turned all VR stuff on in HUD....

Just done a stage at Greece (in the Quattro) and Wales in the Scooby.

Mind is absolutley blown....staggering how good the Codemasters team have got this......thank you for restoring my faith in you!!

As an aside, I tried de-bug tool on 1.5 (because I was getting greedy) - looks better but hit the fps a 'noticeable' amount.......

Very happy camper here.
Nosh

I solved my locked fps issue with going from fullscreen to window mode. But i'm still stuggling to keep 90pfs on medium.

Sitting on a i5 4670k 980ti sli (sli not avtivated)

How's everyone doing with the nausea?

All comfort settings off, only had some strange feelings once in Greece while slipping of a hillside backwards if I recall correctly.

Interesting.

I have a i7-6700, 980ti and 32gs of RAM.

Used the debug tool to check fps.....

....getting constant 90fps with HIGH setting.

Had a quick blast on his and the wheel rotation breaks immersion for me. You have to set DOR to about 540 to get any decent feel out of the car and then your VR driver doesn't match up with your real arms

Also looks like only half the car is rendered..... 10GB??

But like I said it was a quick blast so maybe there are some settings to tweak. Cockpit and co driver look real detailed though and its the only game that made me feel a bit sick, going backwards down a cliff edge censored

Still, think it looks amazing on 100hz G-Sync

Also, people having FPS problems, have you updated to the latest NVidia drivers? Assuming you use NVidia cards?
