Maybe you should go on and look further for any other race game. If you want ultrarealism. Go with rFactor or Assetto Corsa.

Yes I dont like HUD, T-CAM, development system and AI if this is the hardest AI
I like FOrmation lap,  manual start tyre choice and some new features 
Is funny to see another year without all f1 package, too much hype for a normal game, we are in 2016 and codemasters are working like in 2013, is time to do more job and early is not aceptable sold f1 game in August.

After 7 years without full f1 game, the patience is over, so negativity? of course,  but yes codie staff is listening what community wants, a part of community as always, some people are asking 2 features, good AI and official HUD, but nothing, year after year the same history, so Maybe IM frustrated too see codemasters are doing what they want, or doing what another part of community want, and its okay, but they will lose another part of community, Maybe f1 license is too big for this small company and for arcade fans.
Dont worry you will not have to see more negativity, codemasters have lost a loyal customer since 2009.

I like what i see.  Only the car damage can be better.  For the rest it looked so beautifull.

This is gonna be the first race game on my ps4.

For me other things could be better. More helmet customisation (actually make your own design), better AI, more in depth R&D (but the steps they have taken this year have been massive so this point will be more for F1 2017), ability customise your camera more for T-cam, actually make your own avatar (again this year they have made a good step in the right direction so this is more for 2017), better engine sound, manual pitting, more in depth career (press interviews that vary greatly, more for 2017 again).
And hopefully if F1 gets bought out then in future games we might actually have driver transfers.
But overall this game looks fantastic and I am going to buy it, and this is going to be my first racing game on PS4 as I don't like the other racing games too much and it wasn't worth buying F1 2015.

The AI do seem to give up too easy even if they have the inside.  If only they would run you out of room or pinch you down and generally make it more of a challenge.  I am sure its not on a higher AI setting but it still comes across as if you can get a wheel around the ai at a corner they'll slow down far too much.

Anyway game is still looking good and certainly a step in the right direction.

yeah I like what I'm seeing too especially the time of day editor and the revamped career mode Been thinking I might play around a little with the time of day editor when I do my practice races before starting my career mode. I'm mostly interested in career mode but I always do practice races first around some of the tracks I'm usually good on to get a feel for the game first and how it handles. But I sometimes do practice races in between seasons on career mode as well sometimes and it's during these periods I'll likely play around with the time of day feature and stuff.

This is not a pretty good excuse for not implementing a good AI that knows how to defend. I want it as hard to overtake and also as hard for me to defend against the AI as possible. As long as it's fair of course.
