Where to Pre-order F1 2016

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I am currently in the midst of where to pre-order the game. Here are my options (This is for the PC of course).

1. Amazon.co.uk - Currently displaying the game for £30. https://www.amazon.co.uk/F1-2016-Limited-Edition-PS4/dp/B01GCBP3MU

2. Pre-order a CD key. £30 - https://www.g2play.net/category/27617/f1-2016-pre-order-steam-cd-key/?utm_source=www.allkeyshop.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=allkeyshop

Money isn't the issue here, it's when the game becomes available. Ordering the physical disc from Amazon means I have to wait for some point in the day for the delivery to arrive. Ordering a CD key will probably allow me to download the game overnight and will be ready for when I wake up. The latter is more ideal I reckon, but I'd like to know what others have done.

How have people pre-ordered the game, anyone gone with the CD key option?

Cheers
Nanners

Amazon is the better choice as they are reliable and always deliver on time. I'll be working from home the day of delivery so I can sign for test out the new release - just after working hours...LOL!

Actually it depends on which part of the world your in actually as Amazon UK's delivery can be rather iffy. If it's an old game that's been out ages themn fair enough but with new ones it can be a pain. That's why I chose not to order with Amazon this time.

Me too lolololol, but I reckon it would be a smarter choice to download it, as I will be able to install it from midnight and play it in the morning... Before** working hours.. ;)

@peanutt2000 that's exactly why I am not pre-ordering it from Amazon. Thanks for the heads up lol!

@SmTuNgg I'm not entirely sure. I take it you have Googled it?

Just pre-ordered it through Steam. Amazon are unreliable, and pre ordering a CD key from G2play looks suspiciously ass from doing a bit of research. Steam are selling it for £36 including the 10% discount I get for having F1 2015, so for the sake of  £6 I'm gonna play safe rather than sorry.

I pre ordered from Amazon but then cancelled it because they said I wouldn't have it till Saturday

Which is why I chose not to use tem as they've been rather unreliable in recent years.

If I pre order from game do they guarantee I'll receive it on release day?
Every time I've pre ordered from Game it has been delivered to me on release day. So I'm trusting them again this time with F1 2016

http://www.game.co.uk/en/f1-2016-limited-edition-steelbook-only-at-game-1292675?pageSize=20&searchTerm=f1%202016 Only place you can get the steel book edition. That's where I've pre-ordered ( probably a stupid idea, but I have).
