Wrong wheel size...again

I am pretty sure I can say this because the NDA is lifted but there is a full FOV/POV and height/width editor for cockpit in F1 2016 like the PC version of 2015 but as far as I know none for T-cam

Honestly I don't understand why! It shouldn't be that difficult to extend it to t cams

that wont help the wheels being to small for the car because both the wheel and car will change together using that adjustment.

Yes I wrote the comment in the wrong thread. You're right

Does it really matter that much? F1 2016 is already looking like the best game so far and I'm sure a steering wheel size won't affect your gameplay whatsoever. If you nitpick every single detail then of course there is going to be differences. Be happy the game is so good and honestly a steering wheel size is not the be all and end all of the world.
Its something that we will be staring at for hours on end. We will be staring at it the whole time we are playing the game.
Ah, that's where you're going wrong. Try looking at the track ;)
What part of the wheel being right in front of my face are you having trouble with?
The fact that if the wheel is right in front of your face you can't see anything else can you?

Though you do seem the type to stare at the steering wheel and then rage quit because you are in a wall.

Focus on the track and stop crying.
This made my day xD honestly i hardly look at the steering wheels, to busy focusing on the track or another car

Er no you don', do you know how to use your ears, after time you wouldn't even have to look at the wheel. So you should focus on the track and quit crying about trivial things when other things need to be improved that are more important, such as the AI and damage.

Spot on. You can tell from the sound, and the lights are in your peripheral vision.

I've now got this hilarious vision of Kev, a gormless kid, mouth wide open, at his steering wheel staring at the screen then looking down to change gear, looking up, looking down, looking up

Picture it, its brilliant

Is it? I don't see any announcement to that effect in the beta forum.

@Britpoint has already confirmed the camera editor information in public anyway, though, so it doesn't matter either way ;)

It is sad to say f1 2016 still features completely wrong steering wheel sizes. In particular Williams, toro rosso and sauber ones look much smaller than real life. Is there an explanation for this choice?
I totally agree!
It seems that developers are concerned to make space for the driver to move your hands, and avoid the problem of the hands enter the car,
therefore decreased the wheel.  :/  :|

Ah the typical losers way of avoiding themselves looking like a retard, aka changing the topic. Just keep your eyes glued on the steering wheel and fuck off now.

God...the amount of little things you guys find that are wrong with the game are too damn high. And 99% of them are never noticed by a normal human being. Cameras, wheels, gloves, pants,....Its like you guys have a well known "i must dislike the Codemasters' F1 games forever" phobia.

anyone can watch racing and see how cockpits function for the driver and its his connection with the car. The effort in getting a racing car cockpit, F1 or otherwise, seat and wheel position to the drivers liking.  Even just simply seeing how when people buy a regular car the first thing they do is jump in the drivers seat and grab the wheel to check it out at the car dealer ship. Just a basic understanding about the connection between car and driver is the cockpit of the car he is driving. For someone to try and come at me with the cockpit and wheel isnt important because your not staring at it while driving is nothing short of amazing. Amazing that someone is that far away from the feeling of driving a car in anger that the logic they have is the cockpit or the wheel doesn't matter if your not staring at it while you drive. Then you have the irony of just two threads above this one is about wanting to see more info on the wheel display and your here trolling me with power points like no one looks glances at their wheel while driving....... Then of course you have the rational thought of now we have the adjustment to make the cockpit view realistic, so yes, we might as well make that small step to care if the wheel looks two sizes to small? All those numbers on a f1 wheel drivers monitor. All those speed gauges on your regular car you look at. I look around at the interiors of the cars out today and everyone of them has somekind of speed gauge to freaking look at but then here I'm stuck with some random kid trying to make a point of drivers never look at so much as their own wheel so this one looking 2 sizes to small doesn't matter.

This is far from nitpicking. Its something that we will be staring at for hours on end. We will be staring at it the whole time we are playing the game. Nitpicking is something that you hardly can notice or never see.
Pick another team, problem solved.  B)

You are seriously just trying to find something new to moan about. Major things have been put into the game and people now are moaning about a steering wheel being slightly too small. It isn't a big deal, it is a fucking game, you don't need to look at a wheel on the game which doesn't even show you much information. You are mentioning things about when people buy cars in real life. That is real life not a game. This is a game so get a grip.

well you have to look what gear your in and your revs because the cockpit view does have the hud showing it
Uhh nope i can tell what gear im in subconsiously i know how many downshifts im making without looking at the wheel and i shift based more on engine noise, if youre looking at the wheel to see what gear your in or when to shift youre losing time and focus on whats happening on track literally i look at the wheel to see how my lap times are going once in a blue moon and even thrn theres no point cause theres lack of info so i look at the wheel maybe 2-3 times a race

what do you want me to do guy? Do you have to make me point out things like your going to have to watch your speed when you hit pit road and speed under the virtual safety car? Maybe point out players keep a eye on the revs wether they know it or not because its a matter of damaging your engine. Why do I need to do all of that when these guys commenting could just use logic and reason to realize the fact that the wheel is seen simply because it takes up the bottom half of the tv screen in cockpit view. Its impossible not to see your wheel even when your not looking right at it. Its like some of these guys that posted the comments to me have never driven a car so they don't understand things like you can watch your speed without staring at the dashboard, but you still see it and know exactly how fast your going. Like the concept of understanding you can see things without even looking at something blows their minds and they just cant inderstand how thats possible. So they comment things like I must be staring at my wheel instead of the race track. No, I'm doing both at the same time in the exact same second. I didn't post the thread. I didn't make the thread asking this to be fixed. Someone else did and I just commented on it.

Oh I get what you're saying completely but that's not my argument, I was just agreeing with the people who said they hardly notice their wheel during the race and tbh you wont need speed un virtual safety car only the delta time on the HUD, plus I wont be watching my speed when I go near pit lane, I never have done, I do it by feel entirely I know what the speed I want feels like so its like a corner, I know what the last lap felt like so if it went around fine last time I go a bit further and judge from that honestly ive never once used a speedo in an f1 car xD. But like I said I get what you mean, you can see things outside of your focus point.

Small correction to myself, I use the speedo during practice to compare my speed in the speed trap against others to know if I'm a sitting duck on the straights, but still hardly ever.

Yea, after I read what I comment back. I thought, I hope he didn't think I was ranting on him because I wasn't trying to. As you can see from the replys I was getting. The understanding of how we can see something without looking right at it seemed alittle to much for them and the only way I can see a steering wheel while in the cockpit view  is to look directly at it. I thought about taking the time to post videos of drivers working the display and changing settings on the wheel while looking at both the display/wheel and the track at the same time, but instead I just went with just commenting you need to watch the gears to save time.
