I wish I could get home and just get on with the work, and I would be finished in two hours to enjoy the evening, but there's always something much better to do. What if I've missed a cool YouTube video? Ooh, I should just check out Twitter? MBKF1 91 Posted July 21, 2014 My best talent is probably music. I've taken my grade 7 on the clarinet and I sing too in choirs and my school even has a barbershop group which is awesome. I play in various bands at school and music groups (Wind Bands, Orchestras, Clarinet Ensembles) , and some of these groups have managed to get through to various stages of competitions. For example, I went to Birmingham two weeks ago to play in the National Festival of Music For Youth competition. Also, my school barbershop group (15 of us) entered the National Choir of the Year competition and we have made it through to the last 16! If we win the Youth Category then we get to the final which is broadcast on BBC television! So if we happen to make that then watch it! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Mexicola 10 Posted July 21, 2014 Nice stuff there Matt!Mine's probably the same, music but switch the clarinet with guitar. Apart from harmonica I haven't a clue about wind instruments. I haven't been in any of the competitions that Matt's been in either. I'm not formally trained but I'm self-taught.
