What is a good but reasonable priced wheel for ps4 2016

Recommended Posts

The cheapest "good" wheel you can get on PS4 is the T150. Good as in it has reasonable force feedback and steering. The price is at $199 (I don't feel like converting that to pounds) so it is affordable.

As for the differences between the wheel and controller. You can feel and be more accurate with a wheel. I prefer a wheel since I have a minor shaking disorder so I can't use a controller without constantly moving left and right.

I would love to buy it as well but 200 is still to much for me since im student and dont really work anywhere yet. I could save up in like 2 months but there are other games i want to play as well so i will just stick with controller for now. And maybe for my birthday in February i buy it..

If you're looking for a good starter wheel (without FFB) , then the T80 is also a pretty nice wheel. Second hand it costs about €30 and new it costs about €60 (same as dollars). It doesn't really have force feedback but for that price you can't expect that. Force FeedBack is expensive. Although if you're just looking for a wheel to let the game feel more immersive, then the t80 is pretty good and it never failed for me. It did the job although I was bored of it (could be because of F1 2015) after like half a year so I decided to buy the T150 and it is a beast! So if you desperately need a wheel; you could buy the T80 second handed. If you really like it then and you want to go a step further, you could look for the T150. This was my experience with it. I hope it helped you with your choice.

I also looked for a good wheel for PS4 with FFB but not too expensive. Indeed the T80 is cheapest, but without FFB and the T300 is more expensive, but with FFB. In between is the T150, with FFB ... so i bought it. Its the best choice for me. Also the T150 comes in two different types: red Ferrari design and blue PlayStation design.

The T150 is the wheel I have, but the force feedback is rubbish. I also had the T80, but that was as much use as a chocolate fireguard. If you want the better feel of the wheel go higher, go the T300.

Its not like im looking for a starter wheel but thanks. I had a wheel before and still have it but its only for PC. But my PC is very old for this new games so i cant really play on it. Thats why i bought PS4 last year because its cheaper than PC and because i always wanted a console. Maybe i will save up till February for a good wheel maybe not. It doesnt really bother me that much because i got very used to the controller in F1 2015 so im qucik enough for hardest challenge.

It's not really about being quicker. It's more about feeling like you're actually in the car with the wheel. If you're just trying to be faster you can better stay with the controller because it would not be worth it.
