Cool, be great if it also allowed you and a friend to do this but in different teams - rival mode as opposed to just coop.

lol yous need to read a bit slower it say CO-OPERATIVE championships In other words its just CO-OP has been re added this has nothing to do with an actual online championship guys unless the writer of the story just had no idea how to write it up properly which therefore I'm gladly wrong

I'm not sure what its actually like. But, if they could give option to save standings from quali it would be nice.

Then, with 22 online support, you can do full 3 session qualifying on Saturday and  come back on Sunday and do a race by loading that qualification results.
