Why IA still is Dumb?

LOL, oh the amount of hilarity in this thread.
Indeed. It's pretty hilarious, that someone gets argument started over from one single difference in the spelling of one term. Yes, in English it's AI, but like someone already said, in Portuguese it's IA, so both ways are correct.
And atleast he is writing here in English instead of Portuguese, like some other users have been writing every now and then. Now I do understand, that there is people who doesn't speak English, and therefor they don't have other options than to write in their own language, whether it is Portuguese or Spanish.

everyone needs to chill teh maldonado out! .... if this was a Portuguese thread and I came on it with a "valid" question in my best Portuguese then im pretty sure some Portuguese person would find my fluency a little funny.... however, thats not the only thing that made me giggle.  The replies were just as funny, and the question in the first place is pointless.  This is a forum.  Since 2011 codemasters do not answer questions. Its a place where we can come and exchange ideas and information. 

HEY CODEMASTERS WILL GP2 AND GP3 BE IN 2018?? ...

Thats like calling formula one, one formula, IA is simply not what its called, maybe a complete imbecile would call it IA and then argue the point, but 99.999999999999999999999% of people would think that person has some sort of mental health issues going on.

But could not be programmed to act as major drivers in the world, after all we are talking about F-One?

Certain that the best route is what we all do,
but when there are many cars there are in front,
thee boxing, limiting you to a space like a sandwich,
you should not open an exception,
put the car by side too,
and make overtaking?

How long the average players will still pass through these leading advantage programming breach?

I do not know the level of difficulty of the game at the time of capture,
but we need more unpredictability in this direction.

The problems with the ai, is that they seem to be little more than speed drones, or as ron dennis would say, moving chicanes. Difficulty settings in a cm game is more to do with how fast the ai drive around the track than improvement in race craft. The ai on all levels seem to have low intelligence.

If these ai are bugged or affected by marbles, as claimed, then f1 2015 must be affected by the same issues, because their race craft behaviour are virtually the same. Here is a list of problems  I have noticed with f1 2015 and the preview build ai;

-  The ai has no random or multiply behaviour when going into a given situation (very predictable)

-   They always brake way too early ( they don't take enough risks in the breaking zones)

-  Because of low intelligence, when racing wheel to wheel with a player, they don't know to give in when they lose track position (no multiply behaviour in decision making)

-  They sometime have difficulties racing very close to the player, due to special awareness, decision making and slow reaction time to certain situation ( this usually lead to them rear ending the player)

-  The ai don't seem to be able to slipstream the player, then pull to the left or right to execute an inside overtaking move.

-  The main problems with these ai, is very poor defensive driving. When approaching them from the rear using drs or just  a faster car, they never take up a defensive line or blocking positions. They simple stay on the racing line and ignore the player. When the ai overtakes the player, they never take up a instant defensive position and make it stick. they will either move back onto the racing or stay wide, which usually ends with them getting mugged ( example 11.27 - 11,30)

- When the ai overtakes they sometime, seem to lose awareness of  player.

-  when the ai are battling among them self, this may look awesome, as some people have commented about f1 2016. The problem is, when they battle among them self, I don't believe they have any awareness of where the player is. I have experience this many time on f1 2015, where the ai are totally clueless in this situation,  an it usually ends with 2 sometime 4 car getting mugged in the braking zone.

-  They don't make enough errors because they don't take enough risk. when I say errors, I mean mistakes a real f1 driver would make, not trying to pull overtaking moves at baku turn 8 and crashing head on into the wall.

From very easy to ultimate difficulty the ai needs to be good on all level, especially with regards to defensive driving. cm said they fixed the ai, and the ones seen in the review build are not the ones we will see the 19th August, so we will have to wait and see.

AI was already better in the quick-race beta compared to the preview build, and that also wasn't the final version so it's looking good. 

One thing I really liked is how they all use different strategies now. I did a 100% at Spa, where Rosberg was  going for a 3 stop strategy, and Sainz made it into 4th place with being the only one to try a 1-stop strategy, he did a very long stint on the medium tyre. 
Wow this is an excellent feature. Now the career mode 100% races are going to be more interesting.

But the AI it is blind?In free trial sometimes i try the circuit with moderate speed but the other cars it me from behind as if i was transparent.

AI is much more smart, 
now knows dodge latecomers crossed cars, slow on track.
They slow down to avoid hitting,
They are seeking a space,
AI also are more educated,
do not take the space of the other car at the start, for example,
F1 2015 happened many hits,
because the player,
quickly out the ideal route,
And as I was very linear,
not away to avoid the beating,
it happened also,
often because the player did not see the car side,
and a light touch, threw the car in the wall.

I need to improve hability, efficiency to reverse gear to dodge cars crossed; 
Yeah, that in some situations,
track closed for cars,
AI practically stop,
just because it makes no reverse gear.
They are still trying to turn the steering wheel constantly,
something useless, the game should know when the situation can not be resolved in such a way, and find another solution,
and if any found, the driver could be stopped, not desperate... (speaking of aesthetics now in the end).

It was brilliant to see AI out the ideal route to try to overtake on the side of the line queue, risking, as a player you think. Amazing!

You can have some pretty good battles with the AI but after a while they will become very predictable.
They are very like the 2015 AI and definitely need to be improved.
