F1 2016 - Supported Wheels

Recommended Posts

Recently I have noticed a glitch when shifting up with Logitech G29, sometimes the transmission double shift up at one shot and I loose torque and boost. I thought it could be an issue with my wheel, but F1 2016 is the only game where it happens. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Not a wheel issue 100% the wheel has software in it that will only let you shift again after a set amount of time. Would be an f1 2016 issue

Statement with regards to Fanatec not being on the supported wheel list on PS4:

Codemasters will continue to support officially approved peripherals for PlayStation 4 in F1 2016. We appreciate that this is far from an ideal situation and as always we are making every effort we can to support our community. Sadly this matter is out of our hands, but we will continue our dialogue with both Sony and Fanatec to try to find a solution.

Don't forget the G29 for pc and playstation from logitech.
and the G930 for xbox and pc from logitech

Hi all, is the venom pace wheel for PS4 also supported on F1 2016/2017???
It's not on the list:
http://blog.codemasters.com/f1/08/f1-2016-supported-wheels/

which doesn't necessarily mean it won't work at all, but not all its features may be supported.

They should make a post called supported pads, and while they're at it make them equal to wheel

i am currently playing with thrustmaster t80 which don't have force feedback! and i am on average 3 4 tenth slower than the legend  in race trim!so i am wondering if i need to buy a wheel with force feedback like the g29 to be faster? will it make a difference?

@davidbassil Absolutely yes. FFB gives you all the information and feeling for what the car is doing, you can feel the grip available through the forces, respond to slides, feel the bumps etc. It makes a huge difference. You'll not only be much more consistent but you'll find it is so much more fun and immersive to drive :)

You definitly get more out of the game and if money allows, don't cut back on this. Depending on the platform, check out Fanatec as well. Latest products also have feedback on the pedals telling you when you lock the brakes or spin the rear tyres. I'm a Fanatec fan although I envy the Ferrari replica F1 wheel Thrustmaster is offering. Logitech seems ok too in matters of durability. Thrustmaster is less consistent in durability but they are improving. And the word is out they are coming with a direct drive wheel (for pc) Fanatec is also working on a direct drive wheel but that will be expensive.

Its the only thing I want now having moved from pad to wheel, to begin with I missed the braking feedback on the Xbox pad, but got used to it, but it would be great if there is a pedal set out there that supported rumble.

Does the T100 actually work on PS4, has anyone tried it ? It's a PS3 wheel, so I'm just wondering.

Also these adaptors you can get to use other wheels, like g25 on consoles etc. Do they breach some sort of rule for using them ? If not has anyone tried them ?

Thanks.

The T100 does work on the ps4 . But you can only use it in game. I use it in many games and works really well.
