Is it possible to join a practice session when the session is allready started?
Because yesterday I have send an invite to a friend, but when he wants to join, he only can spectate :neutral:

He will join in as a spectator, but he can take control of an idle car in the session using the square / X button (or equivalent) when spectating that car.

No....project cars has a session browser and it was patched in when they realised how crap it was.....have to assume codemasters are either lazy with the bone version judging by the differences in graphics....glitches...or they will have it as an added feature for 2017.....yeah thanks codemasters

They did not just "patch it in when they realised how crap it was". SMS originally said that they couldn't provide a lobby browser on Xbox because of "first party reasons", which is also what Codemasters told us last

I have all 3 versions of this game and the xbox version is easily the worst of the 3 if mp is your thing

1) why is a smaller developer capable of getting a lobby browser implemented but not a developer thats been around since the late 80s??

2) codemasters knew about this feature and how people wanted it since 2015 and still released a game without one

3) the xbox version is a horribly optimised version compared to the other 2 versions and is full of glitches...net issues and looks like someone went to town with the Vaseline.....minimal effort it appears to get them it least parity like other developers.

I cant really find a silver lining here apart from the game plays better with the xbox controller.....if it were not for the stupid region switch you have to do with pc f1 id say thats the best version for mp but its bloody annoying having to change download regions in steam

The ps4 version appears to be the best mp

Okay first of all, I love this game, its so awesome, I played the career and i am just so blown away. My friend who also played this game was also enjoying this game and called it : the best game ever. So we wanted to Coop in the Ferrari, we were very hyped. We did all practise sessions, all Qualyfings and were hyped up for the race. I started from 2nd and he started (because of a pen) 11 or sth. I took the lead in the first corner but in Lap 3 I just got overtaken by Drivers although they didnt actually did, I was really confused, but like one sector later i overtook them again, i thought it was just a little glitch, but because i got my lead back i didnt really cared. In lap 29, I was in 4th place because of fucked up strategie. But suddenly Grosjean overtook the lead out of absolutely nowhere. I was so pissed of, he actually won the race and in the end on the graphics stood, that he lapped everyone in the field. -.- WTF I mean its actually no big matter just this 2 points but i think if i would have been first und suddenly the freaking ai just teleports 1 Lap in front, just WTF. That was acutally a real fuck up and i hope it doesnt happen againg or its getting fixed. I really enjoy this game. Its really challenging and something like that ruins the whole experience. Noneunderless is F1 2016 the best F1 game. (English is not my main language so i apologize for any mistakes but I hope that I made my point clear).

Hi there guys!
i really really love this game so i started an online champhionship with a friend, dont get me wrong not a multiplayer championship just co-op championship with 20 ia drivers and in the other side both of us.
My question is.. since we finish the first race and we leave cos i was late, the next time we enter the lobby how could we do to continue the created championship?

Yeah, you can pretty much do a Co-Op using it, but maybe without progression from season to season. Whats better now is you can run a s many humans as you want -  Ihad thought a four player Co-op with two teams would be great, say Ferrari team and Red Bull team trying to take the fight to Mercedes :)

do you have any idea how could i save my online progress in co-op?

I think it should automatically save after sessions, if I remember correctly, someone from codemasters had said it will save between the sessions automatically, that way we can quit out and reload the session if there was an issue. Fingers crossed someone can give you an answer, I haven't tried the multiplayer championship yet but was planning to.

I have almost every day (1 or 2 times within one hour) game freeze/failure in multiplayer . Someone else? PS4

Releasing the game like this, in terms of Multiplayer on Xbox, is the pits.

Complete agree F1 2016 is probably the best game in the series. Yet on xbox they find a way to stuff people with a cheap fix instead of a equal experience other users have on other formats

Why does the co-op championship not save the points of the races already done?

Is there anyway that the issue with AI taking over a retired car be resolved. This issue in multiplayer has been a concern since the games release. The AI taking over the car rather than the retired or disconnected person from the sessions car being removed from the track has ruined a few league practice sessions. Is this something you are aware of and if so is it being resolved?

They are definitely aware of it and have said its being looked at,take from that what you will.

Yeah, but I think it can only be done in the lobby. Click on their gamer tag and it will be an option.

Yep. You can also "Mute All" there, though be aware of the other long-standing annoyance that doing so only applies to the people in the lobby at the time... anyone who joins afterwards will not be automatically muted.

We are playing a Online Season and all Cars have the same performance, can anybody tell me which car performance this is? 
I tried to setup with different Setups, but nothing works fine. So ... anybody know this?

No its not true. You can find a lobby that meets requirements you set, which will then find the closest match to that lobby if it fails based on your filters.

You WILL NOT be able to look at a list of all the available lobbies and select the one you want.

From what I gather they are based on the Mercedes. Maybe someone from Codies could explain how it works.

I realy hope that xbox patch works..but if not u have to make beta tester again for every patch!looks like the the cm testers cant do their jobs right..sorry for hard words but it is true
