Game can be pretty dslow as when I ordered Grid Autosport from them it actually came a day late but I know Shopto have a pretty good rep for delivering on time and that's who I've gone with. Well you never know you might be fine. It's just that the last 2 or 3 preorder situations where I've gone with them have ended up being a day or 2 late which is why I chose a different direction this time.

Nope not with disk versions, you can just stick the disk in and play (not everyone might have Internet access - in fact the console gaming community slated Microsoft when there was talk of the X1 needing to be always online to play - so games have to be playable without it).

Agree on this one. Games are probably delivered in time. It's the retailers who f...-up. Anyway, days of the hardcopy are numbered. In a couple of years it won't exist anymore.

It's a bit annoying, but what can anyone do about it? The shops need to have stock before the official release date, and there's nothing illegal about selling them as soon as they get them.

All the distributors can do is treat them less favourably the next time, but ultimately both parties want to sell as many games as possible, so that doesn't necessarily help much either.

Hahaha nice 1!!. I too hadn't heard of them until a few weeks ago when a league mate recommended them to me. I too should be getting my copy tomorrow. Got the confirmation text and email this morning

It all looks like it sold on the 19th regardless I guess, "HOLY CRAP, F1 sold x,000,000 copies on its first day of release. That sh!t must be tight"

Simply Games are dispatching F1 2016 pre orders today. I have just had confirmation from them that all orders placed before 3.30pm are being dispatched today. I cancelled my pre order and ordered with Simply Games after getting this response. 

EDIT: I have just had the confirmation email that the game has been dispatched. Christ, I could be playing F1 2016 tomorrow. lol

Amazon in the US ships 2 days in advance of the release so that arrival is timed for release day to keep within legal terms of distribution. I like receiving the games I order from Amazon on release day - way cool.

Hey @jennyannem i think that codemasters need to release the game now to everyone, it's not fair that there's people playing the game before others who paid the same price. I think you guys need to think about us. This is an unfair situation for those like me that have wait a lot of time and pre-order the game. Think about that and please try to compensate us releasing the game early.

It's not codemasters fault stores are breaking the street date. Codemasters shouldn't be held accountable, the stores should.

@MPolanco24 I do not think us simplay game guys paid the same price either :/ it is like £38.80 on there and usually between 45 and 50 quid in game, (not checked the price this year) annoying for a lot of people I must admit,

aint gonna happen, codemasters are not in control for that. this always happen and its not illegal aswell. blizzard is quit smarter with this and locking their servers till release date of a game. i don't mind actually if people play it earlyer than me a couple of days but i was surprised that the italians plays it a whole week earlyer but yeah those where bit lucky this year and if you where the one who received their game so early you wouldn't complain or do you?
