Pre-Orders...

Many people on AOR forums etc have been saying Gameseek delivers the game around three days earlier than launch so has anyone had any prior experience of this and also with GAME as this is where I ordered from; do they tend to deliver in advance or on release day in your experience

I've ordered with SimplyGames.com here in the UK. Has been despatched already and have been told it will arrive this coming Monday or Tuesday.

For some reason there site won't let me order, once I've confirmed my address it just goes to a blank screen....

Game can be pretty dslow as when I ordered Grid Autosport from them it actually came a day late but I know Shopto have a pretty good rep for delivering on time and that's who I've gone with. Hopefully they'll deliver on time. Haven't received any notifications yet from them to say it's on it's way but hopefully I should by midweek.

Shop to don't dispatch anything till Wednesday  normally. But last 5 f1 game I have received a day early.

yeah cos I've been hearing different stuff from some people like that game acc deliver a day or two early and have you pre-ordered if so from which retailer

Because the DLC is what made us preorder, not because we just wanted the game right now.

Mate you've been complaining for ages. People pre order because they want the game as soon as possible. You don't even have to download the dlc if you don't want to. Anyways I'm 99.9% sure that once you start a career and have therefore used your extra r&d points you will no longer have to use those points in another career.

yeah that's what I meant they've developed a rep for delivering on time as I didn' t want to be twiddling my thumbs waiting for this game to show up I chose to go with them. As long as Royal Mail do their job properly I should be fine. Belireve it or not that's essentially what I said anyway as I consider Wednesday to be midweek.

I ordered from game and got an email saying that they are taking the money from our accounts on Monday and from what I could read that means we could receive it from that point onward! I usually order with Amazon, this is my first time with game and I only went with game because of the steelbook edition. I know that amazon deliver on day of release.

I had games come early with GAME back around 2010 and 2011 (Sometimes two days early) but since then they've just come on time. I use them purely because I know they're reliable and deliver on time, they are not the cheapest though.

Well, this launch is clearly out of control from Codemasters. I remember in previous years and also with other games getting the discs one day before, maybe two, but almost a week?

I definitely think they should release the game before 19th, at least, digital pre orders.

This is the worst thing you can do to the fans (not just customers) that PRE order the game, because what we really want is to play as soon as possible,
