Yeah I sometimes see these. I think FOM select a certain car/s over a weekend and use this camera as apposed to the one higher up

Yes you can tweak cockpit cam to your liking

I really liked your F1 2016 gameplay 1 hour video, could you maybe show us more of the options? Like cockpitcam adjustments, pre-order helmets?

Gonna use this when I get the game which will probably be Friday as I ordered from game and probably won't get it until Friday although they said they were preparing for dispatch today and it could arrive tmrw but I got nothing say about it being dispatched so I suppose i'm gonna get it on Friday then.

Thanks everybody for the kind words. I've been wanting realistic t-cams in F1 games since the very beginning and now codemasters have finally given us the option to tweak the camera settings. Hope everybody enjoys using these settings, it might just have saved you a job :)

This is a great post, I'm enjoying the realistic t-cam in the game :)

The only downside to the new camera angle is that you are pretty blind when it comes to formation lap/ safety car etc as during these times a big circle appears at the top middle of your screen (saying "Formation Lap" or "Safety Car" etc) which pretty much blocks your vision ahead.

For the moment I just change my camera temporarily, so no real biggie for me :)

Yeah I've realised that. Because the camera is angled towards the car rather than the track like it is in real life, it does make you a bit blind ahead when a message pops up on the screen or when entering the pits, I actually sped in the pit lane in my first career race because I couldn't see the pit entry line so yeah, it's a good idea to change camera temporarily

To be honest, I didn't even realise I used the 2015 McLaren haha. I'll have a look at changing it :)

@Keeno, can you post a pic or video of cockpit camera where the camera position is low and the seat is positioned foward so that you see just enough mirror to judge where the other cars are. Thanks and great job recreating the realistic tcam views.

I've not got round to doing a cockpit view yet but I definitely will do. I used to race in cockpit view on F1 2015 because I hated the offset T-cam and I really enjoyed the cockpit view when I got used to it.

I've got an idea what it would be like from a drivers POV after seeing an eye tracking piece on Sky F1 with Nico Hulkenberg so I'll go down those lines.

Does the Camera Movement setting allow you to totally disable the silly TCam changing angle under braking and acceleration by setting it to 0?

Yes the camera is completely static now. Doesn't move under acceleration, braking or turning

During a race in Sotchi, as I was using your setup for onboard cam I hide the pop-ups because those seemed to be the only things who block the view. Also sometimes I saw some pop-ups on the left so I thought they were independent from the ones on top.
Anyway, there was a safety car period and I had to slow down but since it was one of my first safety car on the game, I wasn't really aware of what to do with the delta time to follow, etc... I kept racing and suddenly just before the end of the race, I saw the blue line for pit entry activating while I had no pit-stop left.
Finally after 3 laps Jeff told me I have a drive-trough because I didn't respected the delta pace... the thing is, since I removed the pop-ups I couldn't see it. I couldn't even see the penalty received !
My point is that if there are some pop-ups on the left, it would be really nice if they added those pop-ups on the left too as an option :wink:

Yeah, I'm talking about of Edit Cockpit to look more realistic possible, you understand? Like this Camera, that was edited. 
I want to know the values to put in Cockpit edition. 

This would be necessary or the game already features the most realistic version of the Cockpit for all cars?

One would analyze and consequently present values in the best setting values for the cockpit, please? Thank you!
