No force feedback at high speed, logitech G27

Recommended Posts

Anyone else having this issue, where if you drive at high speed, you don`t have force feedback, or 5-6degrees of nothingness in the middle?

Any way to fix it?

Enable V-sync, all the previous games had the same bug

The problem of the 5-6 degrees of nothingness still applies.

It feels like there is a deadzone, and I don`t have any deadzone selected. Really annoying when u want to turn into a corner.

Everything at 100% is strong enough and doesn't have FFB deadzone. Tested for months. What settings are you using both in game and logitech profiler?

Logitech profiler:
100
100
Enable centering spring in force feedback games(on)
150
Steering wheel settings(off)
DoR: 348 (can`t adjust this to slightly, it ups with 7degrees)
Allow game to adjust settings(off)

Ingame
Force feedback options
On
80
80
80
Advanced wheel options
All to 0

Tried Vsync OFF and ON, no big difference.

Don't use the profiler, it sucks. If you use W10 it tries to update it to the v8.xx one. Install the v5.10, then uninstall it. It detects the G27 properly in Device Manager.

Calibrate it on the Windows Game Controller properties (Devices and Printers). Then play at game default settings, works great.

I think I had somewhat the same issue when adjusting the feedback. I solved it by keeping environment feedback and the one below it at 100. Just changed the first one to my liking.

Let me know if this helps.

I have this issue only on Baku and Albert Park.

It feels a bit better now, still a little bit of nothingness, guess it won`t approve much from this point onward.
