F1 2016, random flicker and resullting to black screen?

Screen seems to be randomly flicker, until the whole screen goes to black and only menu items can be seen. Using gtx 1070 @ stock, getting annoying to crash mid-corner because cant see anything :/

I have the same issue already reported. Not getting any answers back from CM at the moment. I have VSync turned off already

Have you tried the steps in the stickied thread about checking drivers and conflicting software?

Also, there is a known issue with 144hz monitors that we're looking into which might be relevant.

In terms of what is happening in game, it would be useful to know when this occurs for everyone so that we can see if there are any patterns. A screenshot or video would be useful too.

It appears to be connected to 120hz, using 60hz solves the issue

Checked all the drivers are updated. Not a 144/120Hz issue for me as running 60.
