F1 2016 - 25% bonus points in the following season when we stop the development of our car

Hi,

I read during the loading screen that if we stopped the R & D of our car during the season, we get a bonus of  25% on the points that we continue to win for the rest of the season in the following season.  But to stop R & D it is sufficient to not assign points or there is a moment in the game where we are asked if we want to stop the R & D?

Towards the end of the season you will be given the option to cease R&D. The downside to this is that you can no longer spend your R&D points and upgrade your car until the next season. The upside to this is that next season you'll have 25% more points to spend on upgrading.
