F12016 + Fanatec CSW v2 + F1 Rim + CSP v3 (SOLVED)

Recommended Posts

Well,  F1 2016 wont see my Fanatec wheel and pedals at all. In F1 2015 they work fine, switch to any other racing game like PCars or Assetto Corsa and they work flawlessy.

Basically, the game doesn't respond to any button press. Game options only show my keyboard as an input device so I tried to unplug / replug the wheel usb connection without any luck.

PC version / W10 64bits.

I have exactly the same setup, and things work fine for me.  It's got to be some sort of setup/config issue on your machine.   When I first installed my pedals weren't working, but they weren't working in the windows usb game controllers setup dialog either.  I had to turn off and disconnect the PC from power for 10 seconds before booting back up.  Sounds like this isn't your issue tho as you said you tried opening up another game right after and everything was working fine?  If the usb game controller dialog shows them working, and the game isn't picking them up, I'd try reinstalling the game, and maybe even the fanatec drivers.

Mmm... PCars & Assetto Corsa work without problem confirmed. In Fanatec's control panel I see both "Clubsport Wheel Base V2" & "Clubsport Pedals V3" and both work fine there.

By the way, I also try with pedals via USB (default is direct via RJ11 to the base) and it's the same. Reinstalling the game won't solve the issue.

Have you checked out the sticky on wheel issues here: http://forums.codemasters.com/discussion/44245/having-a-wheel-issue-look-in-here/p1

There are some conflicts with certain bits of software which might cause problems for you.

Also, make sure you are on the latest Fanatec drivers and firmware as we have issues on earlier versions of the drivers.

Other things to try are setting up your controller on the main menu instead of on track. Does this work? Are you registering input on the calibration screen?

Also try starting the game with the wheel turn on before launching the game and also try turning the wheel on when on track.

Let us know if any of these steps makes a difference.

It's my fault   :s

Nvidia experience was the problem. I noticed that disabling share function in beta version 3.0.4.35 solve the problem. It seems fix it for now and uninstall isn't required.

Sorry and thanks for the support.
