Difference between career and professional career?

Recommended Posts

Hello community,

I have a question. I play the game in german, so I don't how it's called in the English Version, but when you want to start a career, you can choose between two options "Career" and "Professional Career". What is the difference between them both? I also noticed, when I started a normal career, the race options are not changeable, but Safety-Car and the lap before the start are deactivated? Is that one feature exclusive for Professional Career?

Greetings, Kiloclimber

In pro career you are forced to use cockpit cam, race with ultimate ai, no assists, full weekends which means 100% races and simulation damage. In normal career mode everything is customisible except weather which is dynamic.

Are restarts allowed in Pro Career?

I find myself often restarting in normal Career and for now it's okay while I'm still learning, but at some point I should restrain myself from doing that.

The simulation setting is much more sensitive, so you lose a piece of your wing if you just slightly tap other cars etc, and hitting a wall is pretty much game-over every time.
