AM I THE ONLY ONE NOTICING THE AI IS OVER-POWERED ON A WET TRACK?

Recommended Posts

the AI are garbage in the wet and well off their dry pace by about a second. Wet driving is completely different this year, but the AI need to be quicker, so the problem isn't the AI, but you.

They are slower for me in the wet than in the dry. I qualified P4 in the rain in China where I qualified P21 and P20 in the first 2 races in the dry. And I was catching up to AI cars easily too, so it's not like the times are fake slow or something.

Smoother throttle application, and less brake application, with more rear bias (54% is the sweetspot for me). Sometimes I don't even go full throttle before 6th gear. It feels like you're going slower but in reality you're not any slower than the AI.

Dont worry, I do know how to drive in the rain - I think my issue is in qualifying, as I run low downforce due to parc ferme rules and on previous games this has been possible, as the set up didn't affect the car as much as this game. Thanks to everyone for their comments and this has helped me fix my issue with qualifying in the wet :)

I'm the fastest driver in wet in a Manor on Legend Ai. So no, it's completely the opposite.

@Jthorn97 - I changed my setup a few days ago and ever since then, I have been doing better in the wet than dry. Obviously it was just my setup that was letting me down.

Had a dry/wet race last night.  Went from struggling and defending to gaining positions as soon as the rain started, so no.  AI seems relatively slower, not faster.  And I'm glad.  Wet racing is frustrating enough.

I felt like on Expert they were slow in the rain but on Hard they seemed much more capable and quicker on the rain.
